The state government is offering financial assistance through the Agricultural Input Subsidy Scheme. Farmers must apply online before December 2. The relief amount goes directly to their bank account through DBT.

Under the scheme, farmers will receive:

₹8,500 per hectare for rain-fed crops (pulses, oilseeds, coarse grains)

₹17,000 per hectare for irrigated crops like paddy

₹22,500 per hectare for perennial crops (including sugarcane)

The benefit is available for up to 2 hectares. Minimum support is ₹1,000 for non-irrigated crops, ₹2,000 for irrigated crops and ₹2,500 for perennial crops. Small and marginal farmers will also be covered.

The affected districts include: Begusarai, East Champaran, Kaimur, Madhubani, Kishanganj, Gaya, Bhojpur, Madhepura, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Sheohar and Supaul.

using their 13-digit registration number.
