Bhojpuri singer Ritesh Pandey quits Jan Suraj Party, creating a stir in Bihar politics. In a social media post, Ritesh Pandey quits Jan Suraj Party and confirmed his decision to step away from active politics after the recent assembly elections.

Pandey joined the Prashant Kishor-led Jan Suraj Party ahead of the Bihar polls. He contested the election from the Kargahar constituency. However, he suffered a heavy defeat and failed to make an impact at the ballot box.

In his statement, Pandey said he entered politics as a responsible citizen who wanted to contribute to democracy. He added that he worked with full honesty and dedication during the campaign. Despite the loss, he said he carries no regrets about his political journey.

The singer explained that serving people while being tied to a political party has become difficult for him. He believes he can do more meaningful work outside formal politics.

Pandey now plans to focus on music and social service, the fields that gave him recognition and public support. Political observers see his exit as another challenge for the Jan Suraj Party, which struggled in the elections. Supporters are now waiting to see what role Pandey chooses next.

Bharti made this demand after Manjhi said the viral clip was edited and shared with false intent.

The video spread fast on social media. It shows Jitan Ram Manjhi speaking at a public meeting about election results. Opposition leaders shared the clip and claimed it hinted at vote influence in past polls.

Jitan Ram Manjhi denied these accusations. He said someone edited the video to harm his image. According to him, people misunderstood his remarks because of selective editing.

Reacting strongly, Jan Suraj Manoj Bharti asked Manjhi to upload the full video without cuts. He said the public deserves the truth. Bharti added that the real footage would end all doubts.

Political reactions followed soon after. Leaders from several parties demanded clarity on the issue. Many said transparency alone can stop false narratives.

The controversy has increased political tension in Bihar. The debate continues as the demand for the original video grows louder.

A month after a poor showing in the Bihar Assembly elections, fresh political buzz has emerged around the Prashant Kishor–Priyanka Gandhi meeting. Jan Suraj Party chief Prashant Kishor recently met Congress leader and MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in Delhi.

Sources say the Prashant Kishor–Priyanka Gandhi meeting took place last week at Sonia Gandhi’s residence, 10 Janpath. The two leaders reportedly spoke for nearly an hour.

Both parties have played down the importance of the meeting. When asked about it in Parliament, Priyanka Gandhi reacted lightly and asked whether this was “also news.” Still, political circles are reading deeper signals into the interaction.

The meeting matters because Prashant Kishor once shared a close working relationship with the Congress. After leaving the JD(U) in 2021, he joined the Congress and drafted a revival plan ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. Differences over authority later led to a bitter split.

Since then, Kishor has openly criticised the Congress. His Jan Suraj Party also faced a crushing defeat in Bihar, failing to win a single seat, with most candidates losing their deposits.

Congress too struggled in Bihar, winning only six seats out of 61 contested. Against this backdrop, the Prashant Kishor–Priyanka Gandhi meeting has fuelled talk of a possible political reset, even as both sides remain silent.

Prashant Kishor said the Bihar Jungle Raj Fear played a major role in his party’s defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections. He explained that many voters believed a win for Jan Suraj might indirectly help the return of Lalu Yadav’s rule. This Bihar Jungle Raj Fear made people choose safer options.

Kishor said Jan Suraj contested 238 out of 243 seats but failed to win even one. The party’s vote share stayed between 2 and 3 percent, and most candidates lost their deposits. He felt the final voting numbers did not match the positive feedback he received during his long Jan Suraj Yatra.

In an interview, Kishor said he sensed that something unusual happened during the elections. He claimed that unknown forces influenced the results, and some new parties, barely known to voters, received unexpected support. He admitted he had no proof but said several patterns looked strange.

Kishor also accused the NDA of giving money to thousands of women voters. He said women received ₹10,000 before voting and were promised ₹2 lakh in total if they supported the NDA. He said he had never seen a government distribute money to nearly 50,000 women in this manner.

Kishor announced that he will donate 90% of his income for the next five years to the Jan Suraj Party. He also said he will give all his assets to the party, except one house in Delhi. This Prashant Kishor donation move shows his plan to build a stronger organisation and restart his campaign from January 15th across Bihar.

Kishor said the party will visit every ward and help women submit forms for benefits. Women can receive ₹10,000, and later, they may get ₹2 lakh under government schemes. He said Jan Suraj workers will help 1.5 crore women complete the forms. Kishor added that voters must learn not to sell their votes in future.

He asked people to donate at least ₹1,000 per year to Jan Suraj. He said he will now meet only those who support the party with this amount. Kishor said a new struggle has begun, and he needs resources to continue his work in Bihar.

The Prashant Kishor controversy has created fresh tension in Bihar politics. Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that Prashant Kishor no longer has the right to speak because he broke his own promise. Manjhi reminded people that Kishor had said he would retire from politics if Nitish Kumar’s JDU won more than 25 seats. He repeated that Kishor should stop giving statements. The Prashant Kishor controversy grew stronger after the Jan Suraj Party faced a big defeat in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.

BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal also attacked Kishor. He said Kishor began his political life with lies and should apologise to the people of Bihar. He also accused Kishor of misleading voters during the campaign. Jaiswal said that Kishor must accept responsibility and follow his own words.

Prashant Kishor replied that he never held any official post, so there was nothing for him to resign from. He added that Nitish Kumar’s scheme of giving ₹10,000 to 1.5 crore women helped the NDA win. Kishor announced a new condition: if the government gives ₹2 lakh to each beneficiary family within six months, he will quit Bihar politics.

Prashant Kishor U-turn Bihar became a big topic after the recent Assembly elections. He had said he would quit politics if the JDU won more than 25 seats. But he changed his decision after the results. He said the statement was only a political challenge and not a final promise. He repeated that the Jan Suraj Party would keep working in Bihar. He also said he would stay in the state and continue meeting people.
Prashant Kishor U-turn Bihar drew strong reactions because the JDU won 85 seats and the Jan Suraj Party got none. Kishor said he never held any official role in his party that required resignation. He added that his earlier prediction about the party’s growth came true, as many candidates finished in good positions.

Kishor again attacked the state government over welfare schemes. He claimed that money given to women before elections influenced voters. He challenged the government to give ₹2 lakh to those women within six months. If the government failed, he said it would prove that the cash was only for votes.

He also noted that his party received more votes than BSP, AIMIM, and CPI-ML in several seats, even though Jan Suraj did not win any seat.

He hoped to bring change in his home state, and the story of Jai Prakash Singh Bihar elections gained wide attention. But his first election turned into a tough struggle.

Dr. Jai Prakash Singh was born in 1967 in Teghra village, Bihar. He grew up in a farming family and first served in the Army. Later, he joined the IPS and worked in the Himachal Pradesh cadre. During his holidays, he taught village children and guided them for exams. This connection with people pushed him toward public life.

His police career grew steadily. He worked in Kangra, Chamba, Sirmaur, and Intelligence units. He later became Inspector General for both South and North Range. In 2025, he reached the position of Additional Director General of Police.

Soon after his promotion, he resigned and joined Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party. The party fielded him from Chhapra. However, the election result shocked many. He received only 3,433 votes and finished fourth among ten candidates. Despite the loss, his journey from IPS officer to politician remains remarkable.

The AXIS Exit Poll Bihar has created a big debate across the state. People want to know who will form the next government. The final answer will come on November 14, but until then, the AXIS Exit Poll Bihar numbers are driving discussions everywhere.

The poll shows the NDA alliance in a strong position with a clear lead in vote share and seats. The RJD-led Grand Alliance is close behind but still trails the NDA. These results have surprised many voters.

The biggest shock is the performance of Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party. PK worked hard during the Bihar campaign, but the exit poll gives his party only 4% votes and predicts 0 to 2 seats. This is far below what many expected.

According to the survey, the NDA may win 121 to 141 seats, while the Grand Alliance may get 98 to 118 seats. AIMIM could also win 0 to 2 seats.

These numbers show a clear trend, but they are still only predictions. Bihar will know the real picture once the counting ends on November 14.

Election heat is rising in Bihar, and controversy surrounds Congress leader and Purnia MP Pappu Yadav. During an interview, Pappu Yadav remarked, “Becoming an independent MP is not even God’s cup of tea.” This bold comment quickly drew criticism from the Jan Suraj Party.

Manoj Bharti, the State President of the Jan Suraj Party, reacted sharply, saying that this kind of language shows arrogance, not democracy. He added that in a democracy, power lies with the people, not with prideful words. Bharti also posted on X that statements like “God’s father has no power” go against democratic spirit and dignity.

Pappu Yadav is known for outspoken remarks, but this time his statement has sparked a fresh political storm. His claim was meant to highlight how hard it is to win as an independent candidate without support from major parties. However, critics see it as a reflection of ego rather than humility.

The debate over Pappu Yadav’s statement continues to stir Bihar’s political scene as parties prepare for the upcoming elections.
