]]> Amid the Bihar elections, Nitish Kumar’s party, JDU, has taken strict action against rebel leaders. The JDU expelled 16 members, including Gopalpur MLA Gopal Mandal, for anti-party activities. This move reflects the party’s effort to maintain discipline during the Bihar assembly elections 2025.

The expelled leaders include former ministers Shailesh Kumar and Himraj Singh, former MLCs Sanjeev Shyam Singh, Sanjay Prasad, and Ranvijay Singh, and former MLAs Maheshwar Prasad Yadav, Sudarshan Kumar, and Shyam Bahadur Singh. Others like Prabhat Kiran, Dr. Asma Parveen, Asha Suman, and Vivek Shukla were also removed.
