The Hyderabad Election Officer, Karnan , informed that today is the final day for submitting objections regarding the rationalization of polling stations for the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election . This comes following the Election Commission’s directive to ensure transparency and smooth conduct of the polls.

A meeting was held on Monday at the GHMC headquarters to discuss the proposed changes. Currently, there are 329 polling stations in the constituency, but after review, the authorities have proposed increasing the number to 408 . This proposal aims to manage voter flow efficiently and avoid overcrowding on election day.

Election officials emphasized that all objections and suggestions from the public must be submitted by today to be considered. The finalized report, including any adjustments based on received objections, will be forwarded to the Election Commission by the 28th . This step ensures that the by-election proceeds fairly and efficiently , reflecting the democratic rights of the voters.
