Suresh Babu had challenged his removal in the High Court, but the department, considering the Vigilance report and Commissioner’s recommendations, reaffirmed his dismissal.

With Mumtaz Begum now in charge, the Kadapa municipal administration is expected to ensure transparent governance and maintain smooth operations. Officials highlighted that this move aims to restore public trust and enforce strict compliance in municipal projects and contract allocations.
