The Home Department issued an official notification confirming the move. Under this KS Dwivedi tenure extension, all major police recruitment and selection processes in Bihar will continue under his supervision without any interruption.

KS Dwivedi, a 1984-batch IPS officer and former Bihar DGP, has already served in several key administrative and policing roles in the state. Officials said the decision aims to maintain continuity in ongoing recruitment drives and strengthen the selection process.

With this extension, the government has shown trust in his experience and leadership in managing one of Bihar’s important recruitment bodies.
