Virupaksha</strong> from Alur has thrown an open challenge to the <strong data-start="159" data-end="177">“yellow media”</strong>, accusing it of spreading <strong data-start="204" data-end="224">false propaganda</strong> about YSRCP leaders not meeting <strong data-start="257" data-end="289">Prime Minister Narendra Modi</strong> during his Kurnool tour. In a fiery counter, Virupaksha said, <em data-start="352" data-end="524">“We are not fake MLAs — the yellow media is fake. If they prove we didn’t submit a memorandum to the PM, I will resign as MLA. If they can’t, will ETV and ABN shut down?”</em></p>
<p data-start="528" data-end="884">He criticized biased media for misreporting facts and said that <strong data-start="592" data-end="639">YSRCP representatives had indeed met the PM</strong> at <strong data-start="643" data-end="662">Orvakal airport</strong>, submitting a memorandum demanding that the <strong data-start="707" data-end="755">privatization of medical colleges be stopped</strong>, <strong data-start="757" data-end="796">Valmikis be included in the ST list</strong>, and more funds be allocated to drinking water schemes and national highway projects.</p>
<p data-start="886" data-end="1018">Virupaksha asserted that the YSRCP always fights for people’s issues, while “<strong data-start="963" data-end="1014">yellow media twists facts to mislead the public</strong>.”</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kurnool, several YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders met him at the Orvakal Airport and urged him to halt the proposed privatization of government medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The leaders expressed concern that such a move would hurt access to affordable medical education and limit opportunities for students from poor and middle-class families.</p>
<p>In addition, they requested the Prime Minister to consider including the Valmiki community in the Scheduled Tribes (ST) list and to review the proposal for constructing the Nandyal–Kalwakurthi bridge-cum-barrage, which they said would greatly benefit local development and irrigation.</p>
<p>The delegation included MLA Virupakshi , MLC Madhusudan , Zilla Parishad Chairman, and several other senior YSRCP members who submitted a formal representation to the Prime Minister.</p>
