Police said the accused planned the murder several months in advance. They reportedly tracked the lawyer’s movements multiple times before carrying out the attack. Investigators found that disputes related to Waqf properties in Malakpet and Lakdikapul had created serious tensions between the victim and the accused.

Sajjanar clarified that the case has no political connection. Special police teams arrested six suspects and seized weapons and mobile phones linked to the crime. Authorities said they will soon produce the accused before a court and continue the investigation.
