The Jubilee Hills by-election has become a prestige battle for the ruling Congress in Telangana. As the government nears two years in power, the result will show how people view Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership. Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and MIM leaders are campaigning vigorously, meeting voters during the final hours of the drive.

Congress has mobilized its entire machinery for the bypoll with support from MIM, Left leaders, and several BC organizations. Community leaders are urging people to vote for Congress candidate Naveen Yadav. Party strategists believe a win here could boost momentum for the upcoming local body and general elections, strengthening Congress’s image across Telangana.

Campaign teams are focusing on micro-level management in all seven divisions. They are coordinating with community leaders and local groups to address voters’ needs. Meetings with key voter blocs aim to assure them of development and timely problem-solving.

To win voter confidence, ministers are engaging directly with Christian and caste-based groups. Analysts say Congress’s alliance with MIM, Azharuddin’s inclusion as a minister, and strong local outreach could play a decisive role as the by-election concludes.

The CPI candidate list Bihar 2025 has created a political buzz ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. The Communist Party of India (CPI), a vital ally of the Grand Alliance, announced its first list of six candidates even before final seat-sharing talks. This move shows the party’s confidence and early preparation for the Bihar Assembly elections 2025.

According to the CPI candidate list Bihar 2025, Ramratan Singh will contest from Teghra, Suryakant Paswan from Bakhri (SC), Avdhesh Kumar Rai from Bachhwara, Sanjay Kumar from Banka, Rakesh Kumar Pandey from Harlakhi, and Ram Narayan Yadav from Jhanjharpur. The CPI plans to announce its second list soon after the Grand Alliance reaches a seat-sharing agreement.

The CPI remains a key partner of the Grand Alliance, alongside RJD, Congress, and VIP. The party has also decided to allot election symbols to its declared candidates. Earlier, CPI-ML released 18 names, with six nominations already filed. These early announcements signal active campaigning and coordination among left parties as Bihar heads into the crucial 2025 polls.

In Bihar, the Bihar seat sharing deadlock within the Grand Alliance has created political tension. The seat-sharing plan between the Congress, Mukesh Sahni’s VIP, and the Left parties—CPI, CPM, and CPI(ML)—has not yet been finalized. Disagreements over the number of seats each party should contest have delayed the alliance’s campaign strategy.

Tejashwi Yadav, the RJD leader, is working to resolve the Bihar seat sharing deadlock before finalizing Left party allocations. Congress is reportedly demanding 56 to 60 seats, which has complicated negotiations. Meanwhile, the Left parties have urged Tejashwi to address the issue swiftly so they can start campaigning effectively.

Leaders from CPM, including MA Baby, A. Vijay Raghavan, and Ashok Dhawale, recently met Tejashwi Yadav in Patna to discuss the matter. They expressed frustration over delays caused by the Congress-VIP conflict. Despite the stalemate, CPM has begun campaigning in four constituencies—Vibhutipur, Pipra, Mathiani, and Manjhi—while preparing for others.

The alliance hopes to finalize the formula soon, allowing all partners to move forward with a united strategy before elections.

After the announcement of election dates, discussions within the Grand Alliance have intensified. The Communist Party of India (CPI) has submitted a list of 24 seats to Tejashwi Yadav, demanding a respectable number of constituencies. CPI (ML) is seeking more than 30 seats, while CPM has asked for 11. CPI leader D. Raja, accompanied by party officials Ramnaresh Pandey, Sanjay Kumar, and Ajay Kumar Singh, met Tejashwi Yadav to finalize the alliance strategy.

D. Raja stated that the meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and expressed complete confidence that the Grand Alliance would win the Bihar elections.
