]]> In the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, 73% of candidates from NDA and Grand Alliance are crorepatis. The key phrase Bihar Election 2025 crorepati candidates shows that 92 from NDA and 86 from the Grand Alliance own assets above ₹1 crore. Only 35% have less than ₹1 crore.

JDU’s Kumar Pushpanjay from Barbigha tops the list with ₹71.57 crore, while CPI(ML)’s Qayamuddin Ansari from Ara is the poorest with ₹37,000. CPI(M)’s Shyam Bharti from Hayaghat owns just an old bike and ₹39,000. BJP’s Mahesh Paswan from Agiaon has assets worth ₹55,000.

Among 64 lakhpati candidates, 35 are from India, 29 from NDA. RJD’s Dev Kumar Chaurasia, BJP’s Siddharth Saurabh, RJD’s Arun Kumar Gupta, and JDU’s Anant Singh are among the top five richest.

These declarations, filed with the Election Commission, reveal stark wealth gaps among Bihar candidates — from crorepatis to those owning barely a bike.
