This year’s edition has drawn participants from different districts, each bringing unique perspectives, cultural pride and fresh ideas. Contestants have been undergoing grooming sessions that include personality development, stage presence, public speaking, fitness and traditional etiquette.

Organisers say the pageant aims not only to select a beauty queen but also to discover a young woman who can serve as an ambassador for women’s empowerment, social responsibility and Naga heritage. Various rounds such as ethnic wear, talent showcase, interviews and evening gown presentation will determine the final winner.

The event also continues to provide a platform for young women in Nagaland to gain visibility in modelling, fashion, leadership initiatives and community campaigns. The reigning Miss Nagaland 2024 will pass on the crown at the finale night, marking the beginning of a new journey for the 2025 queen.
