The dispute grew when BJP state executive member Krishan Singh filed another case at Gandhi Maidan police station. BJP accused Congress and RJD of failing to control their supporters and demanded strict action.

BJP state media in-charge Danish Iqbal lodged the first complaint. He went to Kotwali police station with Prem Ranjan Patel, Prabhat Malakar, MLA Vidyacharan Rai, and Noor Alam. They gave a written application to the police.

The complaint mentioned a viral video shared by Saurav Raj. The clip showed abusive words shouted from the Mahagathbandhan stage during the Yatra. BJP leaders said the remarks insulted the Prime Minister and hurt the feelings of crores of Indians.

They demanded quick investigation and punishment. BJP also blamed the opposition alliance for encouraging such conduct and said accountability must be fixed.
