The facility is divided into three zones: a 2,860 sqm ticketing area, a 1,150 sqm post-ticketing zone, and a 1,218 sqm pre-ticketing section. This design reduces congestion and ensures smooth passenger movement at the station’s main entrance.

Northern Railway equipped the Kendra with 22 ticket counters, 25 Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs), seating for 200, and 18 HVLS fans for cooling. Workers relocated ATMs, a Delhi Police cabin, and utility lines carefully without affecting daily operations.

The Foot Over Bridge 1 (FOB 1) was extended for direct Metro access, improving connectivity and reducing platform crowding. Vaishnaw announced a Productivity Linked Bonus of Rs 1,866 crore for over 10.90 lakh railway employees, rewarding their dedication. The Kendra and bonus reflect the ministry’s focus on passenger convenience and staff recognition.
