Hyderabad is a city known for its long history and steady growth. The city has progressed through different governments without slowing down. People from across the country continue to move here for better jobs and easier living conditions. Affordable housing and strong employment opportunities attract more residents every year.

Many North Indians are also choosing Hyderabad as their new home. They are finding good opportunities in software and construction sectors. Skilled professionals are expanding their careers here. This growing diversity is adding to the city’s social and economic strength.

Hyderabad has now received a rare global honour. The city has been ranked among the world’s top 100 best cities. In the 2026 World Best Cities Report, Hyderabad secured the 82nd position. This ranking reflects the city’s modern lifestyle, solid growth, and improved facilities.

Other Indian cities also ranked in the report. Bengaluru achieved 29th place, Mumbai stood at 40th, and Delhi reached the 54th position. Hyderabad earned its place mainly due to its IT services and overall liveability. These strong indicators helped the city gain international recognition.

A massive crowd reached the Pawan Hans crematorium, where police locked the gates to control swelling numbers. Hema Malini, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and other industry veterans arrived to pay their final respects. Many described his passing as the end of an era.

PM Narendra Modi also offered condolences, praising Dharmendra’s contribution to Indian cinema and national culture. Family members, including Sunny Deol and Esha Deol, accompanied the ambulance and requested privacy while handling arrangements.

Just days earlier, Dharmendra had returned home after a 10-day hospital stay for medical tests. Despite rumours about his health, relatives reassured fans that he was recovering well. His recent film trailer, released after discharge, had sparked excitement among admirers.

Outside his residence, emotional fans gathered with posters, flowers and handwritten messages, remembering the He-Man of Bollywood for his humility, charm and unforgettable performances.

Anmol Bishnoi safety demand grows as his family and political leaders raise new concerns about his return to India. The Anmol Bishnoi safety demand also intensified after his cousin, Ramesh Bishnoi, urged the Central government to guarantee full protection once Anmol reaches India.

Ramesh said the family trusts the investigation agencies but fears for Anmol’s security. He claimed Anmol faces pressure only because he is Lawrence Bishnoi’s younger brother. “Our first priority is his safety. We respect the law and want the government to protect him when he arrives,” he said.

The situation escalated after Baba Siddique’s son, Zeeshan Siddique, revealed that he received an email from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security stating that federal authorities removed Anmol from the United States on November 18. Zeeshan demanded that the Central and Maharashtra governments bring Anmol back to Mumbai and question him in connection with his father’s murder.

Zeeshan said the family still waits for justice and wants the full conspiracy behind the killing to come out. Baba Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister, was shot in Bandra last year. His widow, Shehzeen Siddique, recently moved the Bombay High Court, seeking a court-monitored probe.

India’s data centre capacity has crossed 1.5 gigawatts (GW) for the first time during the first nine months of 2025, according to CBRE South Asia. The country added 260 megawatts of new supply between January and September, driven by rapid digitalisation and strong AI investments.

Mumbai leads India’s data centre market with a 53% share, equivalent to around 1,530 MW, thanks to its proximity to global internet hubs and submarine cable routes. Chennai, Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru follow with 20%, 10%, and 7% shares respectively, accounting for nearly 90% of total capacity.

Anshuman Magazine, Chairman & CEO of CBRE for India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, said the growth reflects India’s digital transformation. He noted that rising cloud adoption, Internet of Things (IoT), and AI integration are boosting infrastructure demand across the country.

Supported by government policies and cost advantages, India has emerged as a global data hub. The report highlighted $94 billion in data centre investment commitments since 2019, with Telangana, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu leading. During January–September 2025 alone, the sector attracted $30 billion in new investments.

Every year, SRK greets his fans from the balcony, but this time, he skipped the tradition due to safety concerns.

The superstar posted on social media, apologizing to fans who waited for hours. “Authorities have advised me not to step out for everyone’s safety due to crowd control issues,” he wrote. Fans from across India had arrived in large numbers, creating a security challenge for the police and SRK’s team.

To make it up to his admirers, Shah Rukh organized a closed-door fan meet in Mumbai. Dressed in a grey beanie and glasses, he interacted warmly with fans and later shared a video on Instagram. “Thank you for making my birthday special. I’ll see you soon in theatres,” he captioned.

After the event, SRK briefly came outside to wave to the crowd. However, when fans tried to get closer, chaos erupted. Security officials swiftly intervened and escorted the actor away to ensure safety.

The company aims to prove compliance with India’s security and technical standards before starting commercial services.

Officials said Starlink will use provisional spectrum for these runs. Law enforcement teams will observe the trials to verify the company’s compliance with the GMPCS authorisation rules. These demos mark a key step toward Starlink’s entry into the Indian satellite broadband market.

India now allows full foreign investment in the satellite communication sector. Over ten players, including Reliance Jio-SES and Bharti’s OneWeb, have joined the market. With more than 7,500 satellites, Starlink plans to bridge India’s internet gaps, especially in rural areas.

The Indian government said Starlink must store all user data and network traffic within the country. The move aligns with India’s data security policy. Satellite broadband is expected to improve internet access, boost digital inclusion, and strengthen national connectivity.

Revenue from operations also declined 9% to ₹475.4 crore from ₹524 crore, according to its stock exchange filing.

Despite lower sales, the company’s EBITDA grew 12% to ₹134 crore, with the operating margin improving to 28% from 23%. Sanofi attributed the growth to cost optimisation and a better product mix. The company continues to focus on diabetes and cardiovascular treatments as part of its restructuring in India.

Alongside the results, the board announced an interim dividend of ₹75 per share for FY25, with November 7 set as the record date. Sanofi India also named Deepak Arora as Managing Director for a three-year term starting October 27, succeeding Rachid Ayari.

Arora, with over 30 years of global pharma experience, will drive Sanofi’s strategic vision in India. Shares of Sanofi India closed nearly flat at ₹4,747 on Wednesday. The stock has risen 22% this year, even as the Nifty Pharma index declined 4.5%.

India has become the world’s third-largest FinTech startup hub, attracting $1.6 billion in funding during the first nine months of 2025, according to Tracxn, an AI-powered market intelligence firm. The country now stands behind only the US and the UK, underscoring its growing global importance in the FinTech ecosystem.

Early-stage startups witnessed an increase in funding, securing $598 million compared to $555 million in 2024, reflecting continued investor confidence. However, late-stage funding fell to $863 million from $1.2 billion, and seed-stage investment dropped to $129 million. Despite this dip, two major funding rounds — Groww’s $202 million and Weaver Services’ $170 million — boosted overall momentum.

The sector recorded 23 acquisitions, slightly more than last year, with Diginex acquiring Resulticks for $2 billion. It also saw one IPO, Seshaasai, and the addition of two unicorns, matching 2024 figures. Bengaluru remained the leading hub, capturing 52% of total FinTech funding, followed by Mumbai with 22%.

Tracxn Co-Founder Neha Singh said India’s FinTech market continues to show resilience amid funding moderation. She added that strong early-stage activity and steady unicorn creation indicate long-term investor confidence and technological innovation.
