People lined up at booths from 7 a.m., eager to cast their votes. However, several Bihar elections voting complaints have created tension.

In Muzaffarpur, a voter named Anil Kumar Srivastava reported that someone had already used his vote through a postal ballot. He is not a government employee, so this shocked him. When he reached booth number 284 in Mithanpura, officials told him his vote was already cast. He immediately complained to the District Magistrate.

In Patna, two women — Shreya Mehta and Anupama Sharma — said they were stopped from voting. They claimed that the Booth Level Officer (BLO) did not give them voter slips, even though their names appeared on the voter list. Both women had valid voter IDs and waited since 6:30 a.m., but were asked to return.

These incidents in Patna and Muzaffarpur highlight poor election management. Authorities must act quickly to protect every voter’s right and prevent more Bihar elections voting complaints.
