The Special POCSO Court pulled up the station house officer of Bochaha police station for negligence. The judge ordered authorities to deduct the fine directly from the officer’s salary. The court will deposit the amount in the District Legal Services Authority fund.

The case began in May 2023 when the minor girl’s father filed an FIR. He alleged that some men abducted his daughter and one of them tried to rape her. Despite serious charges, police did not complete the probe within the expected time.

The court also sought an explanation for delays in related action against the accused. Senior officers must now ensure speedy investigation in pending cases.

Two trucks loaded with smuggled goods disappeared from Motipur police station in Muzaffarpur, creating panic among officials and raising serious questions about police security. The incident came to light on January 2 when officers found the vehicles missing from the station premises.

GST officials had seized three trucks on December 31 during a routine check. The trucks were carrying goods without valid documents and were allegedly heading toward Uttar Pradesh. After the seizure, GST officials handed the vehicles over to Motipur police for safe custody.

Late at night, amid dense fog, two of the trucks reportedly left the police station area. The drivers and helpers are suspected to have escaped with the vehicles. Only one truck remained at the station when police checked in the morning.

Police have registered an FIR and started an investigation into how the trucks disappeared. Officers are questioning the truck owners, drivers, and police personnel on duty that night. Senior officials have also ordered an internal review.

The incident has highlighted serious lapses in security, as seized vehicles are often kept in open areas due to limited space at the police station.

The Nagpur incident has triggered grief and anger in Bihar after six labourers from the state lost their lives in a tragic factory accident in Maharashtra. The accident took place at a private industrial unit in Butibori MIDC near Nagpur on Friday morning. Workers were carrying out routine work when disaster struck.

According to reports, a large overhead water tank collapsed during testing. The heavy structure fell suddenly and crushed several workers standing below. The Nagpur incident claimed six lives on the spot, while a few others suffered serious injuries.

Two of the deceased labourers belonged to Karja village in Muzaffarpur district. News of their deaths spread quickly, plunging the village into mourning. Family members and neighbours gathered at their homes to console the grieving relatives.

CID investigating Muzaffarpur father suicide with three daughters case has taken over the probe into a deeply disturbing family tragedy in Bihar. The incident shocked residents of Navalpur Mishraulia village in Muzaffarpur district.

Police say CID investigating Muzaffarpur father suicide with three daughters case aims to uncover why a father ended his life along with his three minor daughters. The man, identified as Amarnath Ram, lived with his family in a small house. His daughters were aged 11, 9, and 7 years.

The bodies were found inside the house last week. Two sons of the man survived as they were not present at the time. The incident left the entire village in grief and disbelief.

Senior police officials ordered a CID inquiry after initial findings raised serious questions. The CID team has started collecting evidence and recording statements from family members, neighbours, and local officials.

Investigators are checking whether the family faced financial hardship. They are also verifying if government welfare benefits reached the household on time. Officials are examining all angles, including social pressure and mental stress.

No suicide note has been found so far. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities say strict action will follow if negligence is found.

A young woman from Muzaffarpur has been arrested in a Bihar protest conspiracy case. Police say she tried to create fear and unrest by posting a fake protest video on social media. She posted it on X and claimed that “youths are protesting on the streets of Bihar” after the vote counting in the Bihar Assembly elections. She used this false message to make the video look real.

The video quickly spread online and created confusion among people. Many believed that protests had broken out across the state. However, no such protest happened after the election results. Police say the young woman planned to incite violence similar to the recent Gen-G protests in Nepal. Because of this, they treated the matter as serious.

Cyber Cell ASI Dayal Narayan Singh filed the FIR. He stated that the video’s design and the woman’s captions clearly attempted to create panic. The police team felt that the Bihar protest conspiracy case could disturb peace and cause hatred among communities.

Officers said a large amount of misleading content was shared from her account. They added that such actions can spread anger, fear, and tension in society. The investigation in Muzaffarpur continues.

The Muzaffarpur strong room CCTV controversy has created fresh tension in Bihar’s election environment. The RJD, led by Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav, posted a video claiming that CCTV cameras inside the strong room were off. They said this raised questions about the safety of EVMs. The party repeated the Muzaffarpur strong room CCTV controversy in several posts and asked the Election Commission for answers.

RJD leaders said that similar issues were reported from other districts too. They questioned why the Election Commission was not responding. They also accused national leaders of focusing on influencing the counting process instead of protecting the system.

Soon after the claim went viral, the Muzaffarpur district administration shared another video. Officials said the CCTV cameras were working at the exact time representatives made the complaint. They also said the District Magistrate and senior police officers checked the strong room that day. According to the administration, party representatives expressed satisfaction during the inspection.

Voting for Bihar’s 243 Assembly seats happened on November 6 and 11. EVMs were then sealed and kept under security in strong rooms. These rooms will open on November 14 for counting. The Election Commission has said earlier that all strong rooms have three-layer security and 24×7 CCTV monitoring.

A sudden death in the Gaighat Assembly constituency of Muzaffarpur has sparked major controversy during the Bihar Elections 2025. The District Magistrate (DM) clarified that some media reports linking the death to voting were false. Officials said the man died after a personal dispute involving plucking leaves from a jalebi tree, not due to any political cause. The administration urged citizens to trust verified sources and avoid spreading rumors on social media.

However, the issue turned political when Chirag Paswan of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) dismissed the DM’s statement and called it a “political murder.” He claimed that RJD supporters were behind the killing and that it reflected a return to “jungle raj” politics. Chirag Paswan demanded strict action against those responsible and announced that his party leaders would visit the victim’s family to investigate the truth.

The Muzaffarpur incident shows how quickly tensions can rise during the Bihar Elections 2025, as parties use every issue to influence public opinion.

The Bihar Elections have made Muzaffarpur a center of attention. The city’s political story mixes legacy, rebellion, and caste influence. In Gaighat, near the Bagmati and Budhi Gandak rivers, rebellion within the NDA has changed old loyalties. Komal Singh from JDU faces RJD’s Niranjan Rai in a close contest. Locals say votes are splitting between communities.

In Kudhani, people talk about neglect and past leaders. BJP’s Kedar Prasad Gupta and RJD’s Sunil Kumar Suman are in a tough fight. In Sakra, voters mention development works and government aid but stay unsure of their choices. Many have started small businesses using welfare funds.

Meenapur sees a direct battle between RJD’s Munna Yadav and JDU’s Ajay Kumar. In Muzaffarpur town, the Congress, BJP, and Jan Suraj candidates are fighting hard for control of North Bihar’s only Congress-held seat.

This year, the Bihar Elections are quieter—without big slogans or excitement. Still, voters demand change in leadership and better development for their region.
