National vice president Jitendra Nath, state spokesperson Rahul Kumar, and general secretary Pramod Yadav quit the party. They sent a letter to Kushwaha, claiming the recent decisions were unfair and harmful to the organization.

From September 1, Anganwadi sevikas will earn ₹9,000 per month, up from ₹7,000. Helpers will now get ₹4,500, instead of ₹4,000. This step will add ₹345 crore to the state’s annual spending.

The Revenue and Land Reforms Department received approval for 3,303 new posts. Rules for Bihar Industrial Service Recruitment 2025 and Fisheries & Animal Resources Service Recruitment 2025 were also passed. New schemes for cow protection through self-help groups gained clearance too.

Other approvals include:

• Gas-based crematoriums in Patna, Gaya, Chhapra, Saharsa, Bhagalpur, and Begusarai.

• Bihar State Food Storage and Training Institute in Patna with ₹4 crore.

• JEEViKA headquarters in Patna at a cost of ₹73.66 crore.

• CCTV cameras in 176 police stations at ₹280 crore.

• Solar streetlights in villages with ₹100 crore.

• ₹50 crore for 8,053 Kanya Vivah Mandaps.

The Chief Minister Fellowship Scheme was also approved. Under it, 121 employees will train at IIM Bodh Gaya with stipends ranging from ₹80,000 to ₹1.8 lakh per month.
