He was speaking at the NSG’s 41st Raising Day ceremony in Manesar, Haryana. Shah paid tribute to personnel who sacrificed their lives, calling their service a symbol of courage and dedication.

Highlighting the NSG’s legacy since 1984, Shah praised its decisive role in major operations like the Akshardham and 26/11 attacks. He announced the establishment of a new NSG hub in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, expanding the elite force’s network to seven hubs across India, including Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Jammu.

The Home Minister reaffirmed India’s “zero terrorism policy” under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He mentioned legal reforms and operations such as the abrogation of Article 370, surgical strikes, and air strikes that weakened terror networks. Shah also referenced “Operation Sindoor” and “Operation Mahadev,” which targeted terror camps and operatives.

He also appreciated the CAPF’s contribution to environmental protection, noting 6.5 crore saplings planted since 2019. Shah laid the foundation for a Rs 141 crore Special Training Centre in Manesar to strengthen counter-terror training for commandos.
