]]> The Odisha Cyclone Threat Forecast has drawn public attention as two developing low-pressure systems near the South Andaman Sea may merge and intensify in the coming days. Odisha officials say the Odisha Cyclone Threat Forecast remains uncertain, but the state machinery already stands prepared for any possible landfall or weather disruption.

Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari assured citizens that Odisha is closely tracking the formation. He explained that the twin weather systems could travel over warm waters and strengthen into a depression while moving westward or northwestward. The system currently sits nearly 1,000 km from the Odisha coastline, giving authorities time to plan and mobilize resources if required.

The Minister said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) will release a detailed bulletin today, which will guide further action. Preliminary assessments suggest Tamil Nadu and southern Andhra Pradesh may experience a stronger impact, though cyclone paths often shift unexpectedly.

Pujari urged residents not to panic or spread rumours. He reminded people of past cyclones that changed direction before landfall, stressing the importance of waiting for verified forecasts. He added that emergency teams, monitoring units, and district administrations remain on standby to protect lives and property.
