After completing the probe, police filed a charge sheet in a special SC/ST court. The court later transferred the matter to the MP-MLA court, as the accused is a sitting legislator.

The MP-MLA court accepted the case and scheduled further hearings. Legal experts say the move increases pressure on the RJD leader.

Bhai Virendra represents the Maner Assembly constituency and is considered a senior party figure. The case may have political implications ahead of future elections.
