He spoke to reporters at Patna airport a day earlier. Kumar explained that the party will discuss state, national, and international issues. “At CWC meetings, we pass resolutions after detailed talks. Tomorrow, vote chori and the tariffs imposed by President Trump will be key points,” he said.

This meeting breaks the pattern of holding sessions in Delhi. Top leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Deepa Das Munshi, Sayeed Nasir Hussain, and Meira Kumar, will attend. Kumar rejected BJP’s charge that choosing Patna was a tactic before assembly polls. He reminded them that earlier meetings had also taken place in states like Gujarat.

BJP leaders mocked the Congress decision. Shahnawaz Hussain said the party always fails in Delhi and will meet the same fate in Bihar. Chirag Paswan called it a pressure tactic.

RJD MP Sudhakar Singh disagreed. He said the meeting would send a positive message and strengthen the INDIA bloc in Bihar.

The Patna CWC meet aims to energize party workers and sharpen Congress’s campaign before the assembly elections.
