Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Patna will soon increase as the district plans to set up charging facilities at 58 different locations. This move will bring major relief to EV users who often struggle to find charging points while traveling.

Officials have identified 58 sites across urban and rural areas of Patna. The new Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Patna will work similar to petrol pumps, making charging easier and more accessible for drivers.

The project will begin around June after the district administration completes the required preparations. Each station will have two to three charging boxes and will operate on a prepaid system for users.

Drivers will get both slow and fast charging options. The stations will support different charging levels such as 120-volt and 240-volt systems. These facilities will recharge electric bikes, scooters, autos, buses, and cars.

Major areas such as Kankarbagh, Danapur, Saguna More, and Boring Road will receive these charging facilities. The stations will operate 24 hours a day to support EV users.

At present, the district has only about five to six charging stations. The new plan will greatly improve EV infrastructure and promote the use of electric vehicles in the city.

The Patna Metro January launch is bringing good news for people in Bihar. The metro will start running from ISBT to Malahi Pakadi soon. The Patna Metro January launch will help thousands of daily travelers move quickly and safely.

Construction on this 6.107-km stretch is almost complete. Track laying and electrical work reached Malahi Pakadi. Meanwhile, the section between ISBT and Bhoothnath has been active since early October. Officials expect all finishing work to end by December.

However, the inauguration will take place in the third week of January because the Kharmaas season begins in mid-December. This delay is temporary, and services will begin right after the festival period.

The metro will skip the Khemnichak station for now. Land issues slowed its construction, and workers need nearly six more months to finish it. Other stations, such as Bhoothnath, Zero Mile, and ISBT, are moving ahead quickly. Wires, poles, and platforms are coming up at a fast pace.

The fare from ISBT to Malahi Pakadi will be ₹30. For up to three kilometers, the fare stays at ₹15. For three to six kilometers, it is ₹30. This new line will reduce travel time, make city movement smoother, and offer a cleaner travel experience.
