BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao said the panchayat results marked the beginning of the Congress collapse. Although Congress tried to control the situation, people rejected its style of governance. He noted that BRS supporters won many seats despite strong resistance from ruling party leaders. Moreover, he appreciated workers who stood firm against alleged attacks.

KTR said the Chief Minister’s tours failed to influence voters. Instead, rural voters showed clear anger at the government. He pointed out that Congress could not cross even 44 percent of the seats it contested. Therefore, he argued that the results proved people were unhappy with Revanth Reddy’s administration. He added that the BJP still lacked real strength in Telangana, while BRS remained the main alternative.

He further said villagers realised that development had stalled under Congress rule. Many candidates of the ruling party lost by narrow margins, and that, according to him, reflected public frustration. Additionally, he stated that villagers expected better progress but saw no improvement during the last two years. Consequently, the ruling party faced a setback in rural regions.

KTR said voters remembered the unfulfilled guarantees. Farmers, he noted, struggled with urea shortages and low crop prices. Pension delays, Mahalakshmi issues, and bonus promises also created distrust. Ultimately, he said these problems pushed rural voters toward BRS.

All major political parties are confident about winning the Jubilee Hills by-election. The Congress believes victory is assured, while the BRS expects to retain the seat with a strong margin. BRS leaders accused Congress of misusing power during polling but maintained that the final victory would favor them. Meanwhile, BJP leaders expressed satisfaction, saying they achieved their goal of securing the deposit.

Congress leaders, after reviewing the polling trend, concluded that their candidate Naveen Yadav would win by around 20,000 votes. Ministers supervising the divisions examined voting percentages booth-wise to estimate the margin. However, some divisions witnessed lower-than-expected polling, and ministers are now identifying reasons for that turnout.

Despite exit polls predicting a BRS defeat, party leaders remain confident. They believe the surveys are inaccurate and that the actual voting pattern favors them. The BRS is preparing for large-scale celebrations at Telangana Bhavan on the counting day, asserting that their win is certain.

The BJP, on the other hand, focused mainly on securing its deposit rather than victory. In 2023, its candidate even lost the deposit. This time, BJP leaders claim they worked hard to avoid such an embarrassment and are confident of achieving their minimum goal.

Congress candidate Naveen Yadav is receiving strong support from ministers, who are campaigning division-wise and explaining welfare schemes to voters. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will start his campaign today with public meetings in Vengalrao Nagar and Somajiguda.

Congress ministers have instructed party workers to ensure massive participation in Revanth Reddy’s roadshows. The CM will hold rallies in Borabanda, Erragadda, Sheikpet, Rahmathnagar, and Yousufguda between November 1 and 9. Security and traffic arrangements have been reviewed to avoid disruptions during his visits.

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) will also conduct consecutive roadshows from today until November 9. His campaign will cover all major divisions, including Sheikpet, Rahmathnagar, and Yousufguda. The ten-day campaign will end with a grand bike rally from Sheikpet to Borabanda.

Union Minister Kishan Reddy is leading BJP’s door-to-door campaign for party candidate Lankala Deepak Reddy.

BRS leaders on Monday joined the city’s auto drivers to highlight their financial struggles and broken promises. They travelled in auto-rickshaws across Jubilee Hills, pledging support for the drivers and urging voters to reject the Congress in the upcoming bye-election.

K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) accused Rahul Gandhi and the Congress of betraying Telangana’s auto drivers. He reminded that during the 2023 election campaign, Rahul Gandhi had travelled with auto drivers and promised to set up a Welfare Board and provide ₹12,000 annual support. Two years later, not a single promise was fulfilled.

KTR met Mashrat Ali, the auto driver who once drove Rahul Gandhi in Hyderabad. Ali said he was forced to sell both his autos due to financial hardship. Now, he rents an auto daily for ₹400 to earn about ₹1,000. “Congress betrayed us,” Ali said. “We received no help.”

KTR said Ali’s struggle represents the real state of Congress governance. He urged voters to stand with those betrayed by false promises and hold the government accountable in the Jubilee Hills election.

The Bettiah Assembly constituency in Bihar’s West Champaran district is witnessing a political battle as Congress strives to regain control of the seat from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Historically significant due to land reforms following India’s independence, Bettiah has seen a shift in its political landscape. Congress, which once dominated the region, aims to reverse the dominance of the BJP, which secured the seat in 2015.

Reenu Devi, who previously represented the constituency and won the seat in 2000, has seen her political standing challenged by recent shifts in power. The BJP’s continued control has put Congress on the offensive, seeking to reclaim the seat and restore its political influence in Bihar.

Bihar, once a Congress stronghold, is now witnessing a resurgence of political competition, with Congress striving for a comeback. Reenu Devi’s defeat has provided an impetus for the Congress party’s efforts to reclaim Bettiah in the upcoming elections. The battle between Congress and BJP is intensifying as both parties vie for control of this crucial seat in the state assembly, marking a significant chapter in Bihar’s political dynamics.
