In Bihar, Tejashwi claims crime increased after Nitish left Home Department, targeting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over law and order. Speaking to the media, Tejashwi Yadav said the situation worsened after the Home Ministry shifted from Nitish to the BJP. He stressed that Tejashwi claims crime increased after Nitish left Home Department, pointing to recent criminal incidents across the state.

Tejashwi alleged that serious crimes, including attacks on women and rising violence, show weak governance. He said people feel unsafe and accused the government of failing to control criminals.

Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Samrat Choudhary rejected the charges. He said Nitish Kumar still leads the government and takes all key decisions. He added that police continue strict action and have arrested thousands in serious cases.

The political clash has intensified ahead of upcoming elections, with both sides blaming each other over Bihar’s law and order.

The Karnataka government has introduced a new law to curb rising hate speech and hate crimes in the state. The Congress-led government argues that unchecked hate speech often leads to communal tension and real-world violence. The bill was passed by the state legislature last month and now awaits the governor’s approval.

Hate speech has grown sharply in recent years, driven by social media and television debates. A recent report showed hate speech against minorities rose by 74% in 2024, especially during national elections. The government says existing laws failed to address new digital challenges, making stronger action necessary.

The Karnataka Hate Speech and Hate Crimes (Prevention) Bill, 2025, defines hate speech across public platforms, including social media. It allows the state to direct digital platforms to remove such content. The bill also makes hate crimes non-bailable, with jail terms of up to seven years and financial penalties.

Opposition parties and legal experts have raised concerns over free speech and misuse. The BJP claims the law could silence critics and media voices. Legal experts warn vague definitions may lead to overreach by police authorities. The government insists safeguards exist and says the law will ensure accountability without political interference.

The hijab controversy in Bihar has taken a sharp political turn after Union Minister Giriraj Singh openly supported Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The hijab controversy started when Nitish Kumar removed the hijab of a Muslim woman doctor during an official appointment letter distribution event.

Giriraj Singh said Nitish Kumar did nothing wrong. He stated that India is a secular country and not an Islamic nation. According to him, official work needs clear identification.

He explained that people show their faces at airports, passport offices, and government counters. So, showing one’s face to receive an appointment letter should not create an issue.

Giriraj Singh also said the Chief Minister acted like a guardian. He added that rules and discipline must apply equally to everyone.

However, the incident has drawn strong criticism. Many opposition leaders called the act disrespectful and against personal dignity. Some activists demanded an apology from the Chief Minister.

The issue has now moved beyond Bihar. Leaders from different states reacted strongly, and social media debates intensified.

Supporters of Nitish Kumar say the issue is being politicised. Critics argue that personal and religious boundaries were crossed.

The hijab controversy has now become a larger debate on governance, respect, and individual rights in public life.

Telangana Jagruti president Kavitha issued sharp comments during Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s visit to Osmania University. In a social media post, she raised strong questions about the job calendar. According to her, Revanth reached power by giving huge hopes to unemployed youth. Moreover, she demanded clarity on how many notifications he issued in two years.

Kavitha further criticised the government for ignoring earlier promises. She reminded Revanth about the pledge to fill two lakh jobs in the first year. Instead, she said, the government created confusion with what she called a “job-less calendar.” Additionally, she questioned why Revanth stepped onto the OU campus without giving answers to anxious unemployed youth.

She also described the campus as the birthplace of powerful movements. Therefore, Kavitha insisted that the Chief Minister must address youth concerns directly. She argued that the RISING event should not become a platform for exaggerated claims. Furthermore, she demanded transparent information regarding employment progress.

After exiting the BRS, Kavitha has been questioning both the previous and current governments. Through regular social media posts and press interactions, she stays active in public discussions. Meanwhile, her Jagruti Janambata program continues to strengthen her outreach among people across Telangana.

The political journey of Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha has turned into a major discussion in Telangana. She distanced herself from her father’s party and began a people’s outreach programme. Her attacks on Harish Rao and Santosh Rao created early tension. Now, her remarks targeting individual BRS MLAs have become a hot topic in state politics.

During a recent event in the GHMC area, Kavitha criticised Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao. She alleged that he focused more on land issues than on public welfare. Krishna Rao reacted strongly and accused Kavitha of several irregularities. He said he had seen many “like her” and warned that exposing her record would be damaging. He questioned her comments on corruption and challenged her to stop making personal remarks.

Kavitha’s statements have created intense friction inside the BRS. Leaders claim she is highlighting corruption that happened during the party’s decade-long rule. Her comments are giving political ammunition to opponents. Krishna Rao’s sharp counter has opened a new round of debate on the BRS–Kavitha rivalry.

Many leaders believe Kavitha’s aggressive stand may harm her more than help. Senior leaders have not joined her Jagruthi campaign. Questions remain about her political future, especially with ongoing allegations like the liquor case.

The split of opposition MLAs has become a major political flashpoint in Bihar. The issue began after Chirag Paswan claimed that many opposition MLAs were in touch with him and were ready to join the NDA. His remarks quickly intensified the ongoing tension. The split of opposition MLAs is now being discussed as a question of political status and influence.

RJD MLA Bhai Virendra questioned Chirag Paswan’s standing in Bihar politics. He argued that Chirag could not influence even a small decision within their party. In response, LJP-R MP Arun Bharti defended Chirag and listed his political achievements. He said that Chirag had reduced the RJD’s strength from 75 to 25 seats and weakened Tejashwi Yadav’s position.

Chirag Paswan also said that many MLAs feel they can develop their constituencies only by joining the NDA. He added that the opposition is sinking and no MLA wants to stay with a losing side.

The debate continued when Bhai Virendra mocked Chirag’s influence again. Arun Bharti replied strongly, saying their leader has the capacity to turn defeats into victories and that arrogance never lasts in politics.

The Modi-Nitish magic controversy has grown after Tej Pratap Yadav targeted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He questioned how Deepak Prakash, the son of Upendra Kushwaha, became a minister without fighting an election. Tej Pratap used the term Modi-Nitish magic controversy to describe this sudden political rise.

Tej Pratap said that Deepak Prakash once worked as the counting agent for independent candidate Ramnarayan Paswan in Sasaram. Paswan even lost his bail in that election. Tej Pratap asked how such a person could suddenly get a minister post in the Bihar government.

He also shared a picture on his social media handle, X, and called Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi “magicians.” His post received many reactions online, as people debated whether such appointments were fair.

The issue has now become a major political discussion in Bihar. Opposition leaders say this proves that the government is rewarding people without any public mandate. Supporters argue that the chief minister has the right to pick ministers.

The controversy continues to grow as more leaders join the debate. For now, Tej Pratap’s comments have added fresh heat to Bihar’s political scene.

The trump calls for epstein files release debate grew stronger on Sunday after US President Donald Trump openly asked Republicans to release the documents. He said on Truth Social that he has nothing to hide and wants the country to move forward. The trump calls for epstein files release message marked a clear shift from his earlier position.

Trump also accused Democrats of spreading an “Epstein hoax”. He reacted to old emails in which Jeffrey Epstein claimed Trump “knew about the girls”. Trump denied the claim and said the Justice Department already shared thousands of pages with the public.
Moreover, he urged Republicans to stay focused on major issues like inflation, jobs, border security, and investment.

Meanwhile, social media reacted strongly to a new set of emails from Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein. In one email, Mark asked Steve Bannon if Vladimir Putin holds a photo of “Trump blowing Bubba”. Many users linked “Bubba” to former President Bill Clinton, who has denied all wrongdoing connected to Epstein.
As a result, the online debate grew even louder.

Trump said the nation should stop wasting time on rumors. Therefore, he wants all legal documents released so that people can finally move on.

The Bihar Poll Result Cauliflower controversy gained momentum soon after the National Democratic Alliance secured a sweeping victory in the Bihar Assembly elections. Assam Health and Family Welfare Minister Ashok Singhal posted a photo of a cauliflower field with the caption, “Bihar approves Gobi farming.” The Bihar Poll Result Cauliflower remark sparked immediate debate online.

Netizens claimed the post hinted at a disturbing incident from the 1989 Bhagalpur riots. Many users criticised the Minister for posting a caption they believed trivialised a painful period in Bihar’s history. They argued that the timing of such a remark, right after the election results, made the controversy even sharper.

The NDA’s win—202 seats out of 243—put the alliance in a strong political position. Party supporters celebrated, yet Singhal’s post soon overshadowed early reactions to the results. Several social media users demanded accountability, saying that political leaders should communicate with sensitivity, especially when a statement has the potential to revive old wounds.

Some felt that the Minister’s influential position required him to think carefully before associating a major mandate with a symbol that could trigger emotional responses. They called for more responsible behaviour from public figures, particularly when addressing large online audiences.

However, a section of users defended Singhal. They claimed he simply shared a humorous political comment and did not intend to reference any communal event. They argued that opponents were intentionally overinterpreting the post to create unnecessary tension.

The debate showed how quickly a symbolic post can turn into a statewide political discussion. In the age of instant digital reactions, even a simple image of a cauliflower field can spark controversy, emotional arguments, and widespread public conversation. The incident also highlighted how political messaging has become extremely sensitive and carefully dissected by the online public.
