He tagged KTR’s post and warned, “BC community members, beware. Those exploiting suicides for politics are back.”

Reddy criticized KTR for opposing BC reservations and spreading negativity to other states. He accused KTR of misleading the BC community while protecting the BJP. The pending BC reservation issue at the central government level was highlighted as being mishandled politically.

He called KTR a “trickster” who deceives BCs for political gain. Reddy emphasized that political drama by BJP and BRS cannot halt the fight for BC reservations. The Congress leader urged unity among BCs to continue pressing the central government for justice.

Sama Mohan Reddy reiterated that BC community rights would not be compromised. He confirmed that Congress will continue its struggle until central government action ensures proper implementation of reservations. He warned against being swayed by political theatrics aimed at dividing the community.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has said that some States are trying to dilute the Governor’s role. He argued that the Governor’s position has been part of India’s system since pre-Independence and continues to play an important role in maintaining accountability. According to him, efforts to weaken this role will harm the balance between the Centre and the States. Dharmendra Pradhan said that some States want to dilute Governor’s role, but the Union government will stand firm to protect the system.

Pradhan also defended the National Education Policy (NEP), which completed five years this year. The policy has faced criticism for the three-language formula, its focus on Indian Knowledge Systems, and the fear of excessive uniformity. He dismissed these concerns as politically motivated and insisted that the Opposition is using the NEP to push its own agenda. He said the policy promotes Indianness, inclusivity, and a multidisciplinary approach that prepares young people for both national and global opportunities.

Highlighting challenges, Pradhan said India is equipped to face disruptions such as U.S. visa restrictions and global uncertainties. He stressed that the NEP empowers students with skills, critical thinking, and flexibility, ensuring they remain competitive worldwide.

The minister also responded to claims that the NEP reduces regional autonomy. He explained that the policy allows States to adapt its framework while still promoting a national vision. According to him, the Opposition is spreading misinformation, while the government is working on reforms that benefit students in every State.

Pradhan concluded that political resistance cannot overshadow the larger goal of creating a strong, future-ready education system. He said the NEP represents India’s confidence, cultural roots, and commitment to empowering the youth.
