]]> BRS leader and Legislative Council Opposition Leader S. Madhusudana Chary accused the Congress government of betraying Backward Classes (BC) reservation. He said the party failed to honor major promises.

At a press conference at Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday, Madhusudana Chary stated that Congress promised 42% reservation in local bodies. The party also pledged ₹20,000 crore annually for BC welfare. None of these promises have been implemented. He called it a serious betrayal of the BC community.

Madhusudana Chary added that Congress misled Hyderabad voters. He urged the people of Jubilee Hills to reject Congress in the upcoming by-election. According to him, the party has lost the trust of marginalized communities.

He explained that implementing 42% reservation requires a constitutional amendment. Madhusudana Chary called on the state government to press the Centre for proper BC representation. He emphasized that welfare measures must reach BCs across Telangana.

Nani mocked Chandrababu for favoring a few instead of the masses, saying promises such as “honoring mothers of 8.5 lakh children” were diluted to benefit only 40 lakh. He criticised cuts to driver allowances and alleged selective welfare rollbacks. Nani mockingly renamed Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan as “Kalugu (sleeping) Naidu,” claiming he only awakens theatrically around elections.

MP Avinash Reddy warned of dangerous, counterfeit liquor flooding markets—naming dubious brands and accusing rivals of importing illicit formulas—urging people to avoid illicit alcohol and protect their families.
