The first phase of panchayat elections has started across the state, and voters are forming long queues at polling stations. Many people already received their voter slips in the villages. However, some voters could not collect them due to various local issues. A few others misplaced their slips and began worrying about whether they could vote.

To avoid confusion, the Election Commission enabled an easy option to download voter slips through the Tepoll app and the TSEC voter portal. Therefore, voters who missed their slip can still vote without difficulty. They simply need to visit the link and follow the instructions.

Voters who choose the portal must enter their district, mandal, village, ward, and EPIC number. After providing these details, they should click the Search for Voter option. The voter slip appears instantly, and they can download it on their phone. This process helps voters save time and reach the polling booth without stress.

Young people can also assist elders who forget or lose their slips. They can quickly download slips on their phones and help them exercise their voting right. The system ensures that every eligible voter participates in the election smoothly.

Election staff collected EVMs and other polling materials from the Distribution, Reception, and Counting (DRC) Centre set up at Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Stadium in Yousufguda. Officials are expected to reach their assigned polling stations with all materials by this evening.

The polling will begin at 7 a.m. on Thursday. District Election Officer R.V. Karnan personally inspected the EVM distribution process earlier today. He stated that strict security arrangements have been made to prevent any untoward incidents. Each candidate has been issued one polling agent pass for fair conduct of the election.

After polling, all EVMs will be brought back to the stadium for secure storage and counting. West Zone DCP Chintamneni Srinivas will oversee a three-tier security system with round-the-clock surveillance around the venue.

Meanwhile, major political parties are focusing on poll management from their respective war rooms. They are issuing continuous instructions to ground-level leaders to ensure favorable voter turnout. A total of 58 candidates will have their fate decided by Jubilee Hills voters tomorrow.
