According to him, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu introduced this policy to ensure better healthcare for poor families. He explained that the government aims to remove financial barriers to medical treatment. As a result, the scheme is expected to benefit lakhs of households across Andhra Pradesh.

During the programme, the minister handed over cheques to 100 beneficiaries in the village. He stated that families struggling with medical expenses will receive timely financial support. He also noted that the government is working to expand assistance through multiple welfare channels to ensure maximum coverage.

The minister added that his constituency alone received ₹2.10 crore in aid for 1,200 beneficiaries. He said the government will continue releasing funds to help more families soon. With the Sanjeevani scheme, the state hopes to build a stronger and more accessible public health support system.
