The MP explained that four trains were operating on the route, but all of them were scheduled at late-night hours. He said services were arriving at 12:55 AM, 1:35 AM and 2:20 AM, while another train reached at 8:20 PM. Daily commuters, including students and employees, were said to be struggling with these timings.

A request was made by the MP for a daily MEMU or passenger service during daytime hours. He said such a facility would benefit thousands of regular travellers who rely on this route for education and employment. He emphasised that improved timings would ensure safer and more convenient travel.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw responded that the concern was understood and that a review was being carried out. He mentioned technical maintenance issues in Nandyal and stated that maintenance facilities existed only in Guntakal. The minister assured that corrective steps were underway and that a solution would be provided soon.
