Dr Manjeet Singh Randhawa, convener of Guru-Adab Morcha, said Sikh sampradas will repair homes and offer long-term support to flood victims. They will promote orchard farming, cooperative dairy farms, and profitable agri-industries with the Sikh community’s help.

The community made this decision near the samadhi of Baba Budha Ji at Chak Ramdas, close to the Sakki embankment. Sikh leaders said that, with the blessings of the Guru Granth Sahib, they aim to rebuild homes and create strong, permanent river embankments to prevent future disasters.

Prominent leaders, including Baba Sardara Singh, Baba Kirpal Singh, Baba Satnam Singh, Bhai Sandeep Singh Khajanekot, and Dr Manjeet Singh Randhawa, attended the event. At the Sakki embankment breach site, sangat staged a symbolic protest. They demanded that Punjab gain control of the Bhakra and Pong dams and urged locals to join in rebuilding lives.
