Chouhan will start his day at Ransingh Kalan village in Moga. Farmers here follow eco-friendly methods and have stopped stubble burning for six years. They now use scientific residue management, which improves soil health and reduces chemical fertilisers by nearly 30%. The Minister plans to speak directly with farmers to understand how these methods boosted productivity.

He will then move to Udham Singh Nagar in Jalandhar to meet MNREGA workers. Chouhan recently announced an increase in MNREGA workdays in Punjab from 100 to 150 to support labourers affected by floods.

Later, he will hold a review meeting with district officials in Jalandhar to assess rural infrastructure and livelihood schemes. The visit will conclude with an interaction with farmers at the ICAR-Central Potato Research Centre, where discussions will focus on research and new technologies.

Exams for secondary classes have been postponed, and primary exams may see underprepared students. Officials say safety comes first, though the road to recovery looks long for both families and education.
