The Election Commission has set up two Vaishali vote counting centres for the assembly seats of Raghopur and Mahua. This decision was taken because both seats see heavy political activity. The votes of Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav will not be counted at the same place. The move aims to manage space and ensure smooth counting. The Vaishali vote counting centres will handle different seats based on their location and crowd size.

Tejashwi Yadav’s votes from the Raghopur seat will be counted at the Boys’ ITI in Hajipur. This centre has better space for staff and security teams. Tej Pratap Yadav’s votes from the Mahua seat will be counted at RN College in Hajipur city. The administration wants each centre to work without pressure.

Earlier, all seats in Vaishali were counted in RN College. The place became crowded during Lok Sabha elections, so officials created two centres this time. Mahnar, Lalganj, Vaishali, Mahua, and Rajapakar votes will be counted in RN College. Hajipur, Patepur, and Raghopur votes will be counted in the ITI centre.

Many other districts in Bihar also received extra centres. Counting will begin on November 14 at 8 am across 46 centres.

Satish Yadav has a long electoral history in Raghopur. He lost to Tejashwi Yadav in 2015 and 2020 but defeated former CM Rabri Devi in 2010. Other key candidates include Beena Devi (Kochadhaman), Vinod Yadav (Baisi), Bharat Bind (Bhabhua), and Ashok Kumar Singh (Ramgarh).

This final list strengthens BJP’s position across constituencies as it prepares for tough contests against RJD, Congress, and JD(U) rivals in Bihar.

Bihar Elections are heating up as Chanchal Singh vs Tejashwi Yadav becomes the new focus in Raghopur. Earlier, there was speculation that Prashant Kishor might contest from this key seat in Vaishali district. However, Jan Suraj Party has confirmed that Chanchal Singh will be its candidate. This move ends all rumors about PK’s direct contest against Tejashwi.

Jan Suraj President Uday Singh handed the party symbol to Chanchal Singh, officially nominating him from Raghopur. Earlier, the candidate’s name was missing from both lists of 116 candidates announced by the party. Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav will contest from Raghopur for the third time and is expected to file his nomination on October 15th.

The Raghopur battle gains importance because Prashant Kishor had previously warned Tejashwi that contesting from here would be risky, comparing it to Rahul Gandhi’s Amethi loss. Tejashwi first became MLA from Raghopur in 2015 and won again in 2020. Now, all eyes are on the Chanchal Singh vs Tejashwi Yadav clash that could shape Bihar’s political future.

The focus key phrase Prashant Kishor Family Benefit Card highlights the promise of ₹20,000 monthly support for families. The campaign has quickly gained traction, with the party claiming over 50 lakh registration forms collected since August 27.

Under the Family Benefit Card, families are promised five types of benefits: ₹12,000 monthly for job security, ₹2,000 for pensions to the elderly, widows, and disabled, ₹2,500 for labor support in farming, ₹1,000 for school education, and loans of up to ₹5 lakh for women at just 4% interest along with ₹2,500 assistance. The party says only one family member needs to register for eligibility.

The scheme has stirred political debate in Bihar. RJD is promoting its own “Mai Bahin Maan Yojana” with ₹2,500 for women, while BJP’s Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary labeled Kishor’s plan as a fraud. JD(U) leader Vijay Chaudhary also dismissed it as empty promises.

Kishor, addressing public gatherings during his yatras, appealed for votes by stressing education and jobs over symbolic politics. He also hinted at contesting elections, possibly from Raghopur or his hometown Karahgar, signaling his intent for direct political entry.

He is considering two potential constituencies: Raghopur or Karahar.

Kishor made these remarks during a Q&A session with a digital news channel in Bihar. He said that if Chief Minister Nitish Kumar decides to contest, he too will join the race and fight from the same seat. Kishor noted that Nitish rarely contests elections, but if he does, Kishor will challenge him directly.

Kishor explained that he is considering Raghopur, Tejashwi Yadav’s constituency, or his own birthplace, Karahar in Rohtas. He clarified that the final decision will be made by the Jan Suraj Party. However, he emphasized that he is prepared to contest if Nitish enters the fray.

Kishor called Nitish a “leader of the past.” He pointed out that Nitish has not contested elections in the past 20 years. Kishor added that a leader should contest from either their birthplace or their workplace. His statement has led many to believe that he could run for office in both Raghopur and Karahar.
