]]> At Jaipur’s Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas, Punjab Governor and senior Rajasthan leader Gulab Chand Kataria delivered an emotional address. He said that although Piyush Goyal made him a “Pravasi” by sending him to Punjab, his heart still lives in Rajasthan. Kataria wished that his final days be spent in his home state.

He urged overseas Rajasthanis to repay their “birthland debt” by contributing to the state’s development. Highlighting improved infrastructure, he said Rajasthan now has strong road, rail, airport connectivity, reliable electricity, water supply, better education, and an available workforce for investors.

Kataria praised Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma for beginning work on MoUs worth ₹8 lakh crore. He also lauded Vedanta chairman Anil Agarwal for championing Rajasthan’s interests and appreciated Union Minister Bhupender Yadav for speeding up environmental clearances. Kataria added that new gold findings in Banswara will boost the region’s future prosperity.
