Type-8 government bungalows are large and well-equipped. They usually cover about 8,000–8,500 square feet and include multiple bedrooms, a large living and dining area, study rooms, garage space, and spacious lawns.

The residence also includes strong security arrangements with round-the-clock guards and CCTV monitoring. Many top leaders, including Union ministers and senior political figures, live in the same VIP zone.

After leaving the chief minister’s post, his residential address in Patna also changed. He is shifting from the official CM residence at 1 Anne Marg to a new house at 7 Circular Road.
