Ayodhya is gearing up for the grand Ayodhya Dharma Dhwaja Installation, and excitement continues to rise across the temple town. The Ayodhya Dharma Dhwaja Installation will take place tomorrow at the Ram Mandir, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend as the chief guest for the sacred ceremony.

The special Dharma Dhwaja, crafted in Ahmedabad with three thick fabric layers and a religious emblem dedicated to Lord Ram, weighs nearly 11 kilograms. Temple officials say the flag will rise to a height of 191 feet, marking a powerful spiritual milestone for the newly built shrine.

Ayodhya looks vibrant ahead of the event. Workers continue decorating the Mandir complex with colourful lighting and thousands of flower arrangements. Reports indicate that nearly 100 tonnes of flowers have already reached the city for the celebration.

Volunteers, priests and temple staff say the ceremony represents devotion, unity and gratitude. They describe the preparations as an honour, especially for those contributing to the landmark moment. Surrounding temples will also hoist ceremonial flags at the same time, strengthening the festive atmosphere.

Thousands of visitors are expected in Ayodhya on Monday, as the city prepares for one of its most awaited religious rituals.

PM Modi Says Lord Rama Inspired ‘Operation Sindoor’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his special Diwali message to the nation, said that Lord Rama’s ideals were the inspiration behind Operation Sindoor. He noted that this Diwali is particularly significant, as it is the second Diwali after the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Modi emphasized that Lord Rama teaches the nation to fight injustice with courage and uphold righteousness. Referring to Operation Sindoor, he stated that it reflects the same spirit, as several regions once affected by Naxal violence are now witnessing peace and development.

The Prime Minister added that many former extremists have laid down arms, chosen peace, and rejoined the democratic and constitutional path, symbolizing lamps of hope and progress being lit across the country.

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Kashi-Mathura Movements: Focus Only on Ayodhya

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat made it clear that the organisation will not participate in campaigns for Kashi or Mathura temple reclamation. He said that the Ram temple in Ayodhya was the only movement directly supported by the RSS. However, volunteers are free to join the Kashi-Mathura movements if they personally wish to. Bhagwat repeated that Ayodhya, Kashi, and Mathura hold deep significance for Hindus, but beyond these three, “there is no need to search for a temple or Shivling everywhere.”

He appealed for restraint and harmony, saying such selective focus would help avoid unnecessary conflict. Bhagwat also clarified that there is no rift between the RSS and the BJP. According to him, both organisations work independently but maintain coordination. “The RSS runs shakhas and the BJP runs the government,” he explained.

On politics, Bhagwat dismissed claims that he had suggested retirement at 75. He also spoke on inclusivity, saying Islam has a permanent place in India and the RSS does not oppose Muslims. On global matters, he said India can handle tariff tensions with the United States and stressed that international trade should never happen under pressure.
