Despite the state’s announcement of a ₹10,000-crore package, farmers doubt whether they will get real help. Joint account holders worry because only one person from the shared account will receive assistance. Farmers with multiple accounts will also receive benefits from only one account, raising more questions about fairness.

Adding to the confusion, officers argue that villages have not paid revenue for months, so dues must be collected when farmers submit relief forms. Farmers call this harassment, saying they expected support but are now pressured during a crisis. Many feel the system is working against them instead of helping them recover.
