Officials often receive complaints that some schools work with certain shopkeepers and sell items at higher prices. The administration wants to end this practice and ensure transparency in school requirements.

Schools must now publish a complete list of required books, uniforms, and materials on their notice boards and websites. This will allow parents to buy items from any shop at a fair price.

Authorities also asked parents to report schools that break the rule. Strict action, including cancellation of recognition, may follow.
