The Pappu Yadav maize–makhana protest will take place from April 13 to April 18 at Gulabbagh in Purnia, where the MP plans to hold a sit-in demonstration.

He said farmers in the Seemanchal region depend heavily on maize and makhana cultivation. However, prices of both crops have dropped in recent months. Yadav claimed that changes in ethanol purchase policies have reduced the demand for maize. At the same time, issues related to exports have affected makhana prices.

The MP said the protest aims to push the government to ensure fair prices and better support for farmers. He added that many farmers are facing financial stress due to the fall in crop prices.

Yadav also raised concerns about crimes against women in Bihar and said he would start another campaign across the state after April 18 to highlight women’s safety.

They said they met the Chief Minister to raise problems from their areas. The meeting gained attention because this was their first discussion with the CM after the new government took charge. Akhtarul Iman, Murshid Alam, and Sarbal Ali took part in it. Their move triggered talk across the state as AIMIM MLAs meet Nitish Kumar became the main headline.

Akhtarul Iman explained that an army base is coming up between Kochadhaman and Bahadurganj. The project needs 250 acres of land. He said the place is crowded and has several religious sites. According to him, this may create trouble for local people. He asked the CM to shift the project to another location so families do not face problems. He also said no political discussion happened in the meeting.

Jokihat MLA Murshid Alam spoke about two key demands for his area: setting up two new colleges and creating a new block in Jokihat. The CM promised quick action. He said every issue will be solved without delay. AIMIM holds five seats in Bihar, all from the Seemanchal region.

AIMIM government dream grew stronger in Bihar after the party won five seats in the recent Assembly elections. This AIMIM government dream became louder when the party performed well in the Seemanchal region. AIMIM believes small victories can create new political openings.

Owaisi’s party said a government is possible if JDU, RJD, Congress, CPIML, CPIM, and AIMIM join hands. The numbers add up to 124 seats, which is enough to cross the majority mark of 122 in Bihar. AIMIM even shared a sample cabinet plan to show how this alliance could work.

The party suggested that JDU could keep the Chief Minister’s post, along with two Deputy Chief Ministers and 20 ministers. RJD would get six ministerial posts, Congress would get two, and Left parties would get one each. AIMIM also proposed Nitish Kumar as the PM candidate for 2029.

In Seemanchal, AIMIM contested 29 seats, mostly in Muslim-dominated areas. It tried to join the Grand Alliance before the polls, but the offer was rejected. So, the party contested alone. Vote splits helped AIMIM win five seats, though it narrowly lost many others. The party now hopes its regional strength can shape future alliances.

In the Bihar Election Seemanchal seats have become the heart of the political contest. The region, consisting of Purnia, Katihar, Araria, and Kishanganj, holds 24 assembly seats. This zone is vital due to its location near the Himalayas, Bangladesh, and Bengal, and its growing development. Purnia Airport and new trains like Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat have improved connectivity.

However, migration continues daily for education and jobs. The Bihar Election Seemanchal seats reflect both progress and pain — floods, unemployment, and farming struggles dominate life. Around 80% of residents depend on agriculture and animal husbandry. Maize and Makhana farming support their economy, but issues like seed shortage and fertilizer crisis remain.

The NDA and Grand Alliance are again locked in a close fight. AIMIM and Jansuraj candidates have added more competition. Leaders like Tarkishore Prasad, Leshi Singh, and Vijay Kumar Mandal are contesting key seats. As voters weigh between development and local challenges, Seemanchal stands as a political mirror of Bihar’s hopes and hardships.

The Bihar election war of words is heating up with AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi launching a sharp attack on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. Speaking at rallies in Purnia and Kishanganj, Owaisi said that Tejashwi hasn’t even grown his “milk teeth” and doesn’t understand politics yet. He claimed that the young leader has a weak tongue and his alliance cannot deliver justice.

Owaisi continued his criticism, saying that Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son had called him a terrorist, but it is the people who will decide who the real terrorist is when they vote. He accused both the BJP and Nitish Kumar of promoting a Hindu nation and blamed them for youth migration and lack of education in Bihar.

The Bihar election war of words took a sharper turn when Owaisi defended himself, saying that if fighting for Muslim rights, border development, and justice is extremism, then he accepts that label. He accused Nitish Kumar of ignoring backward regions like Seemanchal while focusing only on power politics.

In the ongoing Bihar elections, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi made a striking statement, saying a son from Seemanchal will become the next Chief Minister. During a rally in Kochadhaman, he launched a fierce attack on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. Owaisi said that the Chief Minister, who got 14% of votes, was ready to make someone with 3.5% votes the Deputy Chief Minister, only to please voters. According to him, parties only seek Muslim votes but never empower Seemanchal’s people.

Owaisi declared that he will not support any Deputy CM deal and that Seemanchal’s people will decide their own leader. He also accused Tejashwi Yadav of speaking the language of Pakistan and ignoring the issues faced by Muslims. Owaisi reminded the public that AIMIM has always fought for Seemanchal’s rights and raised awareness among its people.

He further criticized RJD for rewarding those accused in the Bhagalpur riots and for poaching AIMIM MLAs in 2020. Owaisi’s remarks have intensified the political war, making Owaisi Seemanchal CM remark a key discussion in Bihar politics.

For the past 35 years, Seemanchal has seen only promises but no progress. In the Bihar Election 2025, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi spoke strongly at a rally in Kishanganj’s Tedhagachh. Owaisi Slams both JDU and RJD of ignoring Seemanchal’s development. Owaisi said that despite 15 years of RJD rule and 20 years under Nitish Kumar, roads remain broken, hospitals weak, and education poor.

Owaisi also raised a sharp question in the Bihar Election 2025 campaign — if a community with only 3% population can have a Deputy CM, why can’t the 20% Muslim population get fair political representation? He stressed that Muslims deserve equal rights and political share in Bihar’s progress.

He added that floods, poor infrastructure, and government neglect make Seemanchal one of the most backward regions. Owaisi promised that if AIMIM gets a chance, Seemanchal will see real development.

Prashant Kishor on Owaisi sparked a political buzz in both Telangana and Bihar. Kishor, founder of Jan Suraj Party, called AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi his friend but advised him to focus on Hyderabad instead of entering Bihar politics. Speaking in Kishanganj, Kishor said that Owaisi should work for the welfare of Muslims in Telangana rather than creating confusion in Seemanchal.

Prashant Kishor on Owaisi continued, saying that leaders from Hyderabad should not interfere in Bihar’s regional politics. He reminded that in 2020, AIMIM had contested several seats in Muslim-majority Seemanchal but failed to make a lasting mark. Kishor added that Seemanchal needs leaders from its own land, not outsiders.

He also appealed to Muslims not to fear the BJP but to stand for their rights and development. The political clash between Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party and Owaisi’s AIMIM adds a new dimension to the upcoming 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.

During his Bihar election campaign in Katihar, Prashant Kishor Fear Allah Not BJP became the key message as he addressed the Muslims of the Seemanchal region. He urged them to fear Allah, not any political party, and to stand up for their rights. He warned that if people kept supporting old political forces, their children’s future would remain dark even if leaders’ houses stayed bright.

Kishor criticized both BJP and RJD, saying that real change would come only when people vote for honest leadership. Continuing his campaign across Katihar, Kadwa, Pranpur, and Balrampur, he led roadshows and public meetings, asking voters to press the “Basta” symbol of the Jan Suraj Party.

He also appealed to migrant workers returning home for Chhath to stay back in Bihar and help rebuild their state. Candidates Ashab Alam (Balrampur) and Sonu Singh Nishad (Pranpur) joined his efforts. Kishor’s convoy faced police checks in Purnia, but his campaign continued strongly, promising to intensify after Chhath.
