The event at Future City highlighted the government’s long-term mission for balanced and inclusive growth. The new Vision Document 2047 aims to transform Telangana into a three-trillion-dollar economy by 2047.

The document sets clear goals for youth employment, women’s empowerment, agriculture, industry and public services. Experts from ISB and NITI Aayog guided the planning process. Inputs from four lakh citizens shaped the roadmap. The government plans strong investments across manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductors, green hydrogen hubs and EV production to boost district-level growth.

Future City has emerged as a major investment magnet. Companies from IT, power, real estate, tourism, pharma, automobiles and data-center sectors announced huge commitments. The summit secured ₹5.75 lakh crore in MoUs. The government also plans a 30,000-acre carbon-neutral Future City zone in Rangareddy district to promote sustainable development.

Agriculture modernization, public health and skill development remain key focus areas. A ₹30,000-crore allocation for health and new apprenticeship programs aim to improve human capital. The summit drew massive global attention and strengthened Telangana’s position as an unstoppable growth engine.

The people of Warisnagar have chosen a leader with a different background, and his focus is clear: Bihar technology leadership. Dr. Manjarik Mrinal, a former scientist at IISc Bangalore, won his first election on a JDU ticket. His journey shows that voters now trust leaders with knowledge, global exposure, and fresh ideas. Many people see him as a new face who can guide Bihar toward progress through science and innovation. His win also reflects growing interest in Bihar technology leadership across the state.

Dr. Mrinal worked in semiconductor research, micro-nano manufacturing, and advanced industrial systems. He helped in building India’s first indigenous lithography system at IISc. These experiences shaped his belief that science can solve real problems and improve people’s lives.

He says Bihar’s next step should focus on modern jobs and technology-based industries. For him, growth means stronger manufacturing, food processing, agri-tech, and skill development. He believes Bihar can become a major hub for semiconductor-related work, packaging units, and technology-driven employment.

Dr. Mrinal also highlights Bihar’s strengths: stable governance, a strong workforce, and large potential for expansion. He says quick, scientific action can help Bihar join India’s leading states in industry and innovation.

China criticized the United States on Sunday for imposing 100 percent tariffs on Chinese goods, calling it “double standards.” Beijing said it would continue enforcing export controls in a “prudent and moderate manner” while protecting national interests.

The response followed US President Donald Trump’s announcement of new levies starting November 1. The move came after China introduced export restrictions on rare-earth minerals, which the US described as “extraordinarily aggressive.” Washington also warned of canceling a planned meeting with President Xi Jinping later this month.

China’s Ministry of Commerce defended its export policy, saying the rare-earth controls comply with national laws. The ministry stated that China remains committed to global trade stability while ensuring its security. It accused Washington of abusing export control laws and targeting Chinese products such as semiconductors and chips.

Beijing highlighted the imbalance between the two nations’ trade rules. It noted that the US Commerce Control List covers over 3,000 items, while China’s list includes only about 900. The ministry said these US actions harm international trade and disrupt global supply chains.

India’s silver exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are trading at high premiums over international prices due to strong festive demand and limited global supply. Investors have been snapping up silver in coins, bars, jewellery, and idols, pushing domestic prices above benchmarks.

Globally, silver ETFs recorded record inflows in the first half of 2025, adding around 95 million ounces. Total holdings reached roughly 1.13 billion ounces, worth over $40 billion. Rising industrial demand for solar panels, electric vehicles, electronics, 5G, and semiconductors has supported this surge.

Saudi Arabia’s central bank and other foreign buyers further boosted demand. In India, imports doubled in September as bullion dealers and jewellers tried to secure stock. The shortage caused ETF premiums of 5–12 percent over converted LBMA prices, including customs and GST, according to Axis Mutual Fund.

Axis MF cautioned that the inflated ETF prices may correct if supply normalises and domestic premiums fall. For medium- to long-term investors, silver remains a strategic hedge and portfolio diversifier. Short-term price gaps are less important for those holding silver over multiple years.

Scindia on Wednesday compared semiconductors to the charkha, calling them symbols of India’s modern self-reliance. Speaking at India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, he said semiconductors represent the Swadeshi spirit that powered India’s freedom movement.

Scindia highlighted the Startup World Cup, where 500 companies are competing for funding. He also mentioned the DSS revolution — Designing in India, Solving for India, and Scaling from India — as a major step in the country’s technological growth.

The minister outlined India’s telecom progress, driven by the 4D system: Democracy, Demography, Digital-first approach, and Delivery. He said semiconductor production under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme has reached Rs 91,000 crore. Bharat 6G Alliance is expected to contribute 10 per cent of global patents, he added.

Scindia emphasised India’s digital and telecom growth, with 5G now covering 99.9 per cent of districts and data prices among the lowest globally. He said India has 1.2 billion mobile subscribers and 944 million internet users. The country is leading global digital transformation through innovation, affordability, and inclusivity.

South Korea’s exports rose 13.5 percent year-on-year in the first 20 days of September, reaching $40.12 billion, according to the Korea Customs Service. However, per-day exports fell 10.6 percent due to more working days compared with last year. Imports grew 9.9 percent to $38.22 billion, leaving a trade surplus of $1.9 billion.

Semiconductors led the export surge, rising 27 percent to $9.49 billion and accounting for nearly 24 percent of total exports. Automobile shipments advanced 14.9 percent to $3.42 billion, while vessels exports soared 46.1 percent to $1.51 billion. Steel exports increased 7.1 percent to $2.53 billion, but chemical product shipments declined 4.5 percent to $2.68 billion.

Exports to China, South Korea’s largest trading partner, grew 1.6 percent to $7.77 billion. Shipments to the U.S. rose 6.1 percent to $6.55 billion, but the daily average fell 16.4 percent amid new U.S. tariffs. In July, Seoul and Washington agreed to lower reciprocal tariffs on Korean goods to 15 percent in exchange for a $350 billion Korean investment commitment in the U.S.

August exports rose 1.3 percent year-on-year to $58.4 billion, driven by strong semiconductor demand. Analysts expect trade performance to remain a key growth driver, despite ongoing tariff pressures and global uncertainties.
