Addressing the audience, Shah Rukh said the honour carried deep emotional significance. “My mother would have been very happy. This is a huge honour. When my kids come here, I will proudly tell them—‘Papa ki building, Papa ka naam,’” he said. Danube founder and chairman Rizwan Sajan joined the actor during the launch.

The evening was filled with SRK’s trademark charm and humour. He recreated iconic moments from ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Don’, leaving the audience delighted. He jokingly described himself as “Eid ka chand,” saying he appears rarely but makes a strong impact whenever he does. Filmmaker Farah Khan, who was also present, praised his humility, noting that Shah Rukh reserves his name only for the people closest to him—Gauri, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam.

SRK revealed that his decision to associate with the project was influenced by an emotional conversation with Rizwan Sajan about his ailing wife. He said he hoped the project would inspire people who come to big cities to build their homes and businesses.

The tower is expected to be completed within three to four years, and Danube is planning to expand this concept to other global cities. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for his next film, King, directed by Siddharth Anand and co-starring Deepika Padukone and Suhana Khan.
