Both victims were immediately taken to the Civil Hospital for medical care. Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Toora, along with SP Phagwara Madhvi Sharma, visited the hospital to assess the situation and ensure proper investigation.

A case has been registered under Sections 109, 126(2), 190, 191(3), and 25 of the BNS against six attackers. Two of the accused have been identified as Tanish alias Binda and Sunil, both residents of Balmiki Mohalla, Phagwara.

DSP Bharat Bhushan inspected the crime scene, while SP Madhvi Sharma indicated that the attack may be connected to previous personal disputes. Authorities have intensified efforts to trace all the accused and restore normalcy in the city.
