Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary confirmed the development through a post on X. He stated that Nitish Kumar had urged the Centre to hand over the investigation to the CBI in the interest of justice.

The Patna NEET aspirant death case has drawn public attention, with students and civil society groups demanding an impartial inquiry. Many have raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the young aspirant’s death and the initial police response.
