Directed by young filmmaker Sujeeth, OG is produced by D.V.V. Danayya, who is backing the movie on a grand scale. Priyanka Mohan stars as the heroine, while Bollywood star Imran Hashmi plays the antagonist. The film’s music is composed by Thaman, who has already generated buzz with his tracks.

Every update related to this film has received immense attention, and fans have high expectations for OG. The movie is set to release on September 25, 2025, and is expected to make a massive impact at the box office.

The momentum is remarkable. Just hours ago, bookings stood at USD 267,231 across 174 locations. The film already sold more than 9,000 tickets for 631 shows. With the tally now crossing USD 300,000, expectations are soaring. Pawan Kalyan’s loyal fanbase in North America is turning the film into a festival well before its release.

This surge is more significant when compared to his recent outings. His period drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu collected only USD 1 million during its full run in the U.S. In contrast, They Call Him OG may cross that benchmark even before release. With 27 days left, trade analysts are predicting historic numbers for premieres and opening weekends.

Directed by Sujeeth of Saaho fame, the film features Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist. His debut in South Indian cinema has further raised the buzz. If the current pace continues, They Call Him OG could deliver one of Pawan Kalyan’s most iconic openings in the U.S.
