Current counting trends show a tight fight between the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and TVK, with both parties leading in about 71 seats each. Meanwhile, the opposition All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) is ahead in around 30 constituencies.

Political analysts say young voters played a major role in TVK’s performance. Many youths actively supported the party and encouraged others to vote for change. Voters who want corruption-free governance also seem to have backed Vijay’s party.

If no party crosses the 118-seat majority mark, Tamil Nadu may see a coalition government. Analysts believe alliances between TVK and other parties could reshape the state’s political landscape in the coming days.
