Ahead of the previous elections, TDP State General Secretary Nara Lokesh undertook the Yuvagalam padayatra across Andhra Pradesh. During that period, TDP leaders documented the names of leaders who allegedly harassed them in a “Red Book.” At the time, party leaders openly warned that action would follow once the TDP came to power.

Meanwhile, the mention of the Red Book has now created political ripples. Minister Vasamsetti Subhash said former YSRCP minister Kodali Nani reacts nervously whenever the topic arises. While speaking to the media in Amaravati, Subhash strongly criticised Kodali Nani. He recalled that Nani had made offensive remarks against TDP leaders earlier to please former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.

However, Subhash alleged that the same leader now fears accountability. He dismissed YSRCP’s signature campaign against government decisions on medical colleges as a political drama. Instead, he advised the party to analyse why it secured only 11 seats in the 2024 elections.

Furthermore, Subhash accused the previous government of turning Visakhapatnam into a drug hub. In contrast, he stated that the present coalition government continues to focus on Visakhapatnam’s development. He added that Lokesh remains committed to long-term growth and governance reforms.

He inaugurated the new Cognizant office established at the Mahati Fintic building on Hill-2 in the Rushikonda IT Park. MP Bharat and Bheemili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao joined the event. Before attending the inauguration, Lokesh visited the Visakhapatnam TDP office and interacted with local citizens.

During the visit, Lokesh welcomed everyone and collected petitions on various issues. Many people presented appeals regarding pensions and local civic problems. He examined each request and assured quick resolutions. Moreover, he instructed party workers to track urgent cases and support affected citizens without delay.

Since taking charge as IT Minister, Lokesh has focused on attracting new investments to Andhra Pradesh. He aims to transform Visakhapatnam into a major IT hub. Consequently, several IT companies have already shown interest and begun operations in the city. The minister stated that continued investment will generate strong employment opportunities for youth.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is also participating in today’s programmes. The government plans to expand IT infrastructure across the region.

TDP MP Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu urged the Central Government to resolve the ongoing crisis faced by cotton farmers in Andhra Pradesh. He raised the issue during the Lok Sabha session on Thursday and explained how the recent Cyclone Mona severely damaged crops. He said cotton farmers suffered heavy losses and now face serious financial distress. He added that moisture levels increased and crop color changed due to the cyclone’s impact. Therefore, he asked the Centre to direct the Cotton Corporation of India to purchase even the affected produce.

The MP demanded immediate cotton procurement to prevent further distress. He also appealed to the Central Government to support Andhra Pradesh farmers during this difficult time. He stressed that thousands of families depend on cotton cultivation and need urgent relief measures.

Later, the Union Ministry replied to the MP’s questions related to MSMEs in Palnadu district. The ministry said Udyam registrations increased significantly, reaching 62,036 units by November 2025. Under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, officials identified 7,350 beneficiaries, including a high share of women, SC and ST communities.

The ministry confirmed that banks distributed 757 loans out of 810 sanctioned. However, the MP pointed out several pending loan applications at the bank level. He asked the Centre to strengthen the MSME ecosystem in Palnadu by speeding up approvals, improving loan distribution, and supporting cluster development.

TDP teams have begun reviewing booth structures and planning targeted outreach. Senior leaders are holding meetings with mandal units to guide them on voter contact, communication, and coordination. They want every team to understand local issues clearly.

The party plans to highlight development work, welfare activities, and public service efforts carried out in recent years. Leaders also want to address grievances collected during field visits. According to organisers, strong groundwork can influence close contests across the district.

TDP cadre are being encouraged to visit households, explain rural development plans, and build better connections with youth and women. The party is also arranging training sessions so that coordinators manage election day more smoothly.

Leaders say a united effort is essential to regain influence in rural bodies. They expect an active campaign soon, with public meetings and small-group interactions reaching every major village.

The Speaker compared Jagan’s rule to ancient demonic governance, where kings performed rituals to save their kingdoms from evil forces. He alleged that YSRCP leaders misused authority, looted the treasury, and left the state under heavy debt. According to him, such people are unfit to govern.

He appreciated voters for supporting the alliance in the recent elections, saving the state from destruction. The Speaker said the new government is working sincerely, though the opposition continues to twist every positive move.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has expressed serious concern over the behavior of alliance leaders across Andhra Pradesh. Despite repeated advice from him to change their approach and engage with the public, many leaders have failed to follow through. The Chief Minister warned that every leader must actively reach people and ensure government services are delivered effectively.

During the recent cabinet meeting in Amaravati, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan raised this issue directly. He suggested that strict guidelines be issued to ensure accountability among alliance MLAs. Pawan advised that in-charge ministers must act firmly if any MLA behaves irresponsibly.

Responding to the suggestion, CM Chandrababu agreed and directed all in-charge ministers to take full responsibility for maintaining discipline. He emphasized that corrective action must be taken promptly whenever an MLA violates party ethics or public conduct.

The decision highlights the ruling coalition’s focus on accountability and coordination. Both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan stressed that the government’s credibility depends on disciplined and people-centered leadership.
