When AI can write code, students are rethinking learning, exams, and careers, educators say, as AI tools become increasingly capable of automating coding tasks. When AI can write code, students rethink learning, exams, and careers, exploring new ways to stay relevant in a fast-changing tech world.

Many students are turning to AI platforms to complete coding assignments, test algorithms, and even debug programs. This has prompted universities to reconsider assessment methods and the weight of traditional exams.

Educators note that while AI can handle repetitive coding tasks, human creativity, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding remain critical. Students are being encouraged to focus on higher-order skills, like system design, algorithmic thinking, and AI ethics.

Some schools are introducing AI-integrated curricula to help students collaborate effectively with technology. Career advisors say students must learn to leverage AI as a tool rather than a replacement, preparing for roles that require both technical and analytical expertise.

Industry experts also warn that over-reliance on AI without understanding underlying code could limit long-term career growth. They suggest practical projects, critical thinking exercises, and innovation challenges as ways to develop skills beyond what AI can provide.

Students and teachers alike are adapting to this new reality, reshaping education and career strategies to align with the evolving capabilities of AI.

The people of Warisnagar have chosen a leader with a different background, and his focus is clear: Bihar technology leadership. Dr. Manjarik Mrinal, a former scientist at IISc Bangalore, won his first election on a JDU ticket. His journey shows that voters now trust leaders with knowledge, global exposure, and fresh ideas. Many people see him as a new face who can guide Bihar toward progress through science and innovation. His win also reflects growing interest in Bihar technology leadership across the state.

Dr. Mrinal worked in semiconductor research, micro-nano manufacturing, and advanced industrial systems. He helped in building India’s first indigenous lithography system at IISc. These experiences shaped his belief that science can solve real problems and improve people’s lives.

He says Bihar’s next step should focus on modern jobs and technology-based industries. For him, growth means stronger manufacturing, food processing, agri-tech, and skill development. He believes Bihar can become a major hub for semiconductor-related work, packaging units, and technology-driven employment.

Dr. Mrinal also highlights Bihar’s strengths: stable governance, a strong workforce, and large potential for expansion. He says quick, scientific action can help Bihar join India’s leading states in industry and innovation.

He took part in the 80th Scientific Temperament Celebrations organised by Vijnan Darshini in memory of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The vision of Nehru towards science and democracy was praised during the event.

The Deputy Chief Minister stated that the Telangana government is fully committed to building a scientific society. He mentioned that Nehru not only laid a foundation for science but also strengthened democratic values to match global standards. His contribution was recognised as a major turning point for modern India.

Bhatti Vikramarka mentioned that India’s situation would have been unstable without Nehru as the first Prime Minister. Nehru identified economic, educational, agricultural and food challenges soon after Independence. His long-term planning ensured national development on scientific lines.

He also appreciated Nehru for introducing Five-Year Plans and mixed economic policies. These policies supported agricultural and industrial development, ensuring strong progress. The Deputy Chief Minister stated that scientific advancement alone can strengthen the nation and Telangana will continue to move in that direction.

India’s data centre capacity has crossed 1.5 gigawatts (GW) for the first time during the first nine months of 2025, according to CBRE South Asia. The country added 260 megawatts of new supply between January and September, driven by rapid digitalisation and strong AI investments.

Mumbai leads India’s data centre market with a 53% share, equivalent to around 1,530 MW, thanks to its proximity to global internet hubs and submarine cable routes. Chennai, Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru follow with 20%, 10%, and 7% shares respectively, accounting for nearly 90% of total capacity.

Anshuman Magazine, Chairman & CEO of CBRE for India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, said the growth reflects India’s digital transformation. He noted that rising cloud adoption, Internet of Things (IoT), and AI integration are boosting infrastructure demand across the country.

Supported by government policies and cost advantages, India has emerged as a global data hub. The report highlighted $94 billion in data centre investment commitments since 2019, with Telangana, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu leading. During January–September 2025 alone, the sector attracted $30 billion in new investments.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has asked all pilots, air traffic controllers, and airlines to report GPS spoofing or navigation interference within 10 minutes of detection. The aviation regulator said this move aims to protect flight safety and ensure smooth operations across India’s skies.

Recent GPS signal disruptions were observed around Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, which manages over 1,500 flights daily. The DGCA’s latest directive asks airlines and pilots to record the date, time, route, and coordinates of affected areas.

They must also specify the type of interference such as jamming, spoofing, or signal loss. Evidence like screenshots, flight logs, or system data can help investigators analyze the problem more effectively.

Between November 2023 and February 2025, about 465 interference cases were reported, mostly near Amritsar and Jammu. Similar incidents were also seen in conflict zones abroad. The DGCA is working with international aviation bodies like ICAO and IATA to strengthen protection against GNSS disruptions.
