Tejashwi, currently on a state tour, said his party follows its own ideology and wished his brother good luck. But his firm words suggest he is not ready to compromise on party discipline.

Tejashwi Yadav alleged that BJP leaders could not close even a single ward, let alone a panchayat. He mocked BJP, saying that just like in Modi’s rallies, people are brought in on rent, and the same was needed to show support for this bandh.

On social media, Tejashwi wrote that BJP workers harassed women, teachers, pregnant women, and elders. He claimed they stopped students, blocked ambulances, and even attacked martyrs’ families. Despite these acts, he insisted, the bandh failed to shut down Bihar.

Taking another jibe, Tejashwi said BJP only created traffic jams and failed to mobilize people. He added that PM Modi, who comes from Gujarat, took this step to trouble ordinary Biharis rather than addressing their issues.

On Tuesday, Tejashwi shared a poem accusing the government of failing the people. He said villages remain in darkness, roads are broken, businesses are weak, and jobs are a distant dream. He added that farmers are distressed, trains are often delayed, and young people feel hopeless. According to him, the public now wants real change.

Tejashwi also accused the government of massive corruption. He claimed corruption spreads from block offices to police stations. As an example, he mentioned a senior engineer under a minister whose house revealed ₹13 crore in cash. Reports suggested that the engineer’s total assets were worth around ₹500 crore.

In another shocking case, Tejashwi said an engineer burned ₹10 crore cash while Enforcement Directorate officials waited outside. Calling these “small examples,” he argued that corruption in Bihar has become institutionalized. He also questioned the transparency of global tenders floated by the government.

The remarks signal that corruption and unemployment will be key issues in the upcoming Bihar elections.
