Government advisors have raised concerns about differences in salary and protocol. They say some advisors receive more benefits even though they work in similar roles.

The Cabinet Rank Sparks Row grew stronger after details about the benefits became public. A few advisors receive cabinet-rank status. This status gives them higher salaries, better facilities, and minister-level protocol.

Currently, the Telangana government has around 11 advisors across several departments. However, only K. Keshava Rao and P. Sudarshan Reddy hold cabinet rank. Because of this status, they receive salaries and privileges equal to state ministers.

Other advisors say the system creates unfair differences. They believe the government should offer equal recognition and benefits for similar responsibilities.

Political observers have also raised questions about the rising number of advisors. They say too many advisory posts could affect administrative balance in the government.

President Droupadi Murmu will visit Telangana from December 17 to 22. She will attend several official programs planned in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts. Officials began preparations early due to the visit’s scale and importance. They also reviewed logistic and protocol plans for the week-long tour.

The state government appointed Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka as the “Minister-in-Waiting” for the President. This decision came after Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao issued formal orders on Friday. Seethakka will coordinate government arrangements and ensure smooth execution throughout the President’s schedule. She will also guide departments that support the visit.

During the winter sojourn, President Murmu will stay at the Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad from December 17 to 21. The special stay will include official meetings and cultural interactions. Several national and state officials will join these engagements. The Rashtrapati Nilayam staff prepared the premises with upgraded facilities.

Meanwhile, the police department designed a detailed security plan. They added strong traffic restrictions to ensure safe movement. They also deployed additional teams near event venues and key road stretches. The administration expects heavy public presence and is preparing crowd-management measures. Overall, the visit is set to become a major state-level event.

IAS officer Amrapali faced a major setback in the Telangana High Court on Monday. The court stayed the earlier order issued by the Central Administrative Tribunal. That order directed her allocation to Telangana. The High Court issued interim orders and paused the CAT directions. This move created a temporary hurdle for the officer’s allocation.

The bench reviewed the earlier submissions and sought clarity from all sides. It asked IAS Amrapali to file her counter before the next hearing. The court stated that her response will help in assessing the legal issues. The stay order brought the allocation dispute back into focus.

The judges then postponed the next hearing by six weeks. They said the court needs time to examine the records and arguments. The delay also gives Amrapali space to prepare her reply. The case has once again gained attention across administrative circles.

Legal experts say the matter could take several more hearings. They note that allocation issues often involve procedural complexities. The Telangana High Court stressed that all parties must follow the legal process. The case will now continue after six weeks with updated submissions.

The reservation lists for sarpanch and ward member posts in the upcoming Panchayat Elections reached the Panchayat Raj Commissionerate on Monday. Officials from all 31 districts submitted three sets of gazettes along with Xerox copies. DPOs delivered these documents at the help desk after completing verification at the district level. The commissionerate team reviewed the submissions carefully and prepared them for the next stage.

After examining all papers, Panchayat Raj officials forwarded the district-wise reservation details to the State Election Commission. Additionally, Chief Secretary Rama Krishna Rao sent another copy of the gazette for official records. These steps ensured that the SEC received all necessary documents for the election process. As a result, the commission completed the groundwork required to announce the election schedule.

The SEC is now ready to declare the Panchayat Election Schedule. Media sources indicated that the announcement will be made on Monday evening. The commission planned a press meet at 6.15 PM at the State Election Commission office located in AC Guards, Hyderabad. Officials expect the schedule to outline nomination dates, polling phases, and counting guidelines.

The election process gained momentum after the completion of reservation allotments. With documents finalized and submitted, the SEC aims to move ahead without delay. Therefore, political groups and local leaders are preparing for an active campaign phase. The announcement is likely to set the tone for village-level political activity across the state.
