Telangana’s stunning rise over the past few years has drawn national attention. The State has recorded strong economic growth, higher incomes, and rapid expansion in key sectors like IT, infrastructure, and services. Government data shows that Telangana has moved faster than many other States in development indicators.

However, Telangana’s stunning rise also reveals uneven growth. While cities like Hyderabad have benefited greatly, many rural and semi-urban areas still lag behind. Experts say that wealth and opportunities remain concentrated in limited regions and among specific groups.

Data suggests that agriculture, small industries, and informal workers have not gained as much from the State’s growth story. Employment generation has not kept pace with economic expansion. Rising living costs in urban areas have also added pressure on lower-income families.

Economists and policy experts say the next phase of development must focus on inclusive growth. They suggest stronger welfare policies, better rural infrastructure, skill development, and support for small businesses.

The State government faces the challenge of balancing rapid growth with social equity. Analysts say spreading the benefits of development across all districts will determine the long-term success of Telangana’s growth model.

Union Minister Kishan Reddy strongly countered Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s comments that “bad brothers” are blocking Telangana’s development. Addressing the media at the BJP state office, Kishan accused the CM of ignoring his election promises. He said Revanth Reddy failed to explain what promises were fulfilled even after two years in power.

Kishan claimed the Chief Minister was speaking out of frustration, fearing a possible defeat in the upcoming by-election. He predicted that the Congress Party would lose in Jubilee Hills and alleged that Revanth Reddy’s criticism of the Prime Minister and BJP was baseless. The Minister demanded that the CM stop making false allegations against the Centre and focus on governance.

He further slammed Revanth for claiming that BJP and BRS were secretly working together. Kishan reminded that similar propaganda was spread during the Parliamentary elections. He said no one in Telangana fears Revanth Reddy and that the Centre’s support for state development doesn’t need his certification.

Kishan also alleged that Congress and BRS had reached an understanding in Delhi. He challenged Revanth to provide evidence if he truly believed BJP and BRS were allies, warning against irresponsible political statements.
