I-Bomma gained huge attention for leaking movies and OTT content. The platform copied content from Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar, Aha and many others within minutes. Telugu producers raised strong objections because the platform even leaked theatrical releases within hours. Their losses increased every week, so they filed formal complaints with CCS officials and demanded strict action.

Ravi earlier reacted in an aggressive tone and even issued direct warnings to the police. He claimed that many people across India support I-Bomma and challenged the police to catch him. His statements created a major controversy on social media and many film producers condemned his remarks.

Former Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand assured legal action and promised justice to Telugu filmmakers. Now film producers welcomed the arrest and expressed confidence in future cyber enforcement. They also requested stronger digital surveillance to stop similar piracy networks.
